Manchester United 1-0 Hull - Mata (56')

Pogba free kick - hits the post (73')

Manchester United 2-0 Hull - Fellaini (86')

feck all exertion, 2 goal advantage to take into the next leg. Don't think anyone broke out of a light jog. Would have been nice to get a third but nobody's going to feel tired on Sunday after that.

Kept the good run and momentum before dippers, a good win, should take us to the final easily imo.

We huffed and we puffed and finally blew their house down.

Well done Moyes. If we gave him more time we would have 11 scorers today instead of 2.

Job done especially with a massive game on Sunday. We're really looking like quite an impressive team at the moment.

1 good Darmian cross
1 good Fellaini headed goal
1 good Valencia left footed pass
1 good Valencia left footed cross
850,000 Hull injuries

Happy with that! More than one foot in the final.

Good enough result, good run out for the team. Fellaini goal after Darmian assist, what to add. :)

9th in a row, unbeaten in 15.

Meh. Should've been more really. Bit flat all night. Between Mata and Valencia for motm. Everyone else from meh to decent, nothing too much better then that. 1 eye on Liverpool pretty clearly as nobody was really running like crazy.

Professional performance against a poor injury hit side. Played decently well again and we have a nice rest until Sunday now.
What's that now nine wins in a row? Not half bad!

Boring game, but a win is a win, and that's our ninth on the bounce! Now, on to Liverpool for our tenth.

Solid result, didn't look like the team pushed too hard either, everyone had a solid run out as well

Solid professional performance without any injuries ahead of sunday. Can't ask for more than that

Job done. MOTM - Juan 'hugs' Mata.
C'mon Southampton!

Post 7 - Pogba 0. Something's got to give soon, hopefully against Liverpool.

Very comfortable again but without the cutting edge we showed against Wigan, the 2-0 should still be enough to see this though in the 2nd leg.

Loved the Fellaini celebration.

Some of the abuse he has got throughout his United career has been unacceptable. Happy for him to score today.

No players injured . Winning run continues decent enough performance as I reckon we had another couple of gears. Roll on the Scousers.

Bit of a sloppy performance by some of the players, i.e pogba and Rashford. Nevertheless plenty of chances created again with poor finishing. When will pogba stop hitting the woodwork? The best outcome is that we haven't picked up any injuries. Think the players held off a bit. Still very comfortable with de Gae hardly having to work. Our winning form continues.
