Wasn't really a smash and grab, thought we played some of the best football we had all year. Juve was fantastic defensively and we don't quite have the incisiveness required to cut them open. But we didn't look overwhelmed except for the 5 min after Ronaldo's goal, and I thought our passing and composure was as good as it has looked in a big game in forever. Think Sanchez has something to do with that as well. Martial MOTM for me easily.

Amazing result, the truth is that we were lucky, after juventus goal they could has easily bagged another 2 or 3.

But we needed that, many times luck has played against us it was about time we get out share.

Another great game for Martial, has to be said he looks like a total diferent player.

Still we wont go far in the competition playing the way we play currently but its freaking good to taste victory for now.

I'm not sure what to say after that. This club is quite special in that we're never beaten until the final whistle goes.
The subs helped changed the game in our direction. Mata and Fellaini. Martial also came out with some brilliance and is my motm. He put in a real shift and once he went running at their RB they couldn't stop him.

Who the feck saw that coming Didn't think it was a good performance but hung in there and pushed on in the end and took the little that we had and made it count! Call it a fluke/smash and grab, feck it, got the win and we're going through.

We do need to work on our actual approach to games though. We are too easy to play against for long stretches of games. Rely on individual moments of brilliance or mistakes.

Would say Martial was our key player in attack (as usual).

I thought we were actually good considering the gulf in quality between us and Juve.

We always believed, i really like that in the team these last couple of months. We never give up.

We were always in the game, obviously we gave them a lot of chances but do not forget that we're playing in Italy for one, and that they have world class players.
