At least they played and created a few chances.Liverpool were equally poor, if their fans or klopp think another way then let their delusion continue.

Twats, especially Neville.fecking Shreeves pushing for the Lukaku incident. cnut
Souness’ analysis of the incident is spot on. feck Shreeves & nev
Very happy. Top of the league.
I don't want us to play like Arsenal at Anfield and get smashed 4-0.
A weird match, they should have won with 10 players even but the facts are the facts so cannot really argue. We won't win the league like this IMHO. Need a few big match wins this time.and dropped points against Everton, who we already beat. There are many twists and turns to come.
That's so unlike you!I'm pointing fingers at José.
I am sick of that phrase. I hear that often in recent years in all sports.
"We had better chances, we deserved to win". "We had more possession , we deserved to win". And my favourites; " We were unlucky , we deserved to win". " We played beatiful , we deserved to win".
Team that scores one goal more than opponent deserves to win. If shots are 20-1, and possession is 80-20, if you didn't score, you didn't deserve to win.
Oh yes, i have a winner- " we wanted a win more so we deserved to win".
LVG had a great record against Liverpool whatever his other faults..Saw LVG at the start and this game reminded me of one of his. Very poor game. Mourinho complains about teams trying not to win against us and it seems like he tried not to win today!
Too much respect for Liverpool who were missing their best player. We should have been at them. Everyone looked pedestrian. No control, no class, no creativity, poor energy.
I can see the big picture. You keep jerking those knees. You are happy with the performace today? Jesus Christ.![]()
Well said. Talks bollocks as we all know this would happen, the cowardly Mourinho in big games
They were good in patches, otherwise they looked clueless while attacking. At least they played and created a few chances.
Maybe the result, consideringYou are happy with the performace today? Jesus Christ.![]()
Why are people coming in here saying this? No one denies it isn't a great result at anfield, people are pissed off that we didn't even try against one of the worst defences in the league. We are better than that! We have agreat players, but everytime we got the ball we just handed it back to them. We were shite.Guys! This is a good result. 1 point away at Anfield? Yes please, thanks very much. The onus was on them to win the game and they weren't good enough. Fergie did this away in big CL games, same thing here. I'm pretty happy tbh.
They have played us off the park in other years under SAF and we nicked a goal. Today we didn't. It is small margins. Did anyone care then? And if Liverpool scored one of their couple of opportunities or got a pen then it would seem like a complete disaster.
Its only a masterclass when you balance control with creating opportunities.
Agree but I just feel we missed Fellaini and especially Pogba and it would have been different if they or just Pogba played.
Liverpool's record against the top 6 is unreal. City beat them comfortably but it was a close game until they went down to 10 men. We had a few players out. To play for a point was sensible, our individual players performances made it all look a lot less professional than it was.A weird match, they should have won with 10 players even but the facts are the facts so cannot really argue. We won't win the league like this IMHO. Need a few big match wins this time.
You want us to play like Arsenal away from home at Liverpool then?Woah
I'm not asing you to look at the fecking results or bigger picture ffs. I asked you about our performance today, because yoyu know that is in fact what we are in here discusing. Are you happy with how we played today?I can see the big picture. You keep jerking those knees.
Ya the result is good, but fecking terrible performance.Maybe the result, considering
He is not good enough to start for sure but it's not his fault he is asked to do so much.
He ain't fooling anybody, we know what he can and cannot do. If the players cannot displace him then they're the ones who should feck off out of the club.
City wont let up. We cant just beat say 11-12 of the 14 teams outside the top 6 and hope to win the league. Its a different era now. Noone plays us and feel beat before they get on the pitch anymore
do feck off. There is nothing wrong in wanting and expecting a team of United's capabilities to attack one of the worst defences in the league, rather than shitting the bed. We have said we are happy with the point, but the performance was fecking atrococius and we are better than that! José needs to believe we have the paleyers capable to go to the places like anfield and get a win ffs.
You happy with our performance then? Result asside.

I don't ever remember Jose shitting the bed against other big teams when he was manager of Chelsea. They used to outplay us constantly at OT.
Can't I be both? You think Real fans are not tribal when they play Atlético or Barcelona? I don't see the two as mutually exclusive. There is nothing more painful than watching Liverpool win but there is also nothing more annoying for me to have our team associated with the role of spoilers and game killers. I am tired of watching the best European clubs dominate through pro active football with our teams being reduced to the role of "having to defend well". I could accept the financial disparity if I were a Liverpool or Arsenal fan but when you look at our finances and status, there is no reason why we shouldn't be on the same level as the likes of Barcelona and Real. Watching us, this is absolutely impossible under Mourinho. I know he can win the league, Leicester won it for goodness sake. It is not where I think our ambition should stop long term though.First and foremost the aim for the season has always been to win the league. Ask Fergie what he was aiming to achieve at the start of the season and the answer would be 'win the league'. By whatever means necessary. Anything else is secondary. I wonder if you are a 'football' fan first and foremost, and maybe lacking the tribal nature of a football fan that has been brought up in the culture of English football and local rivalry? Not judging either way, just saying that we're coming at this from a different perspective.
I totally understand going to Anfield with a defensive setup. For most, this still means having some sort of plan to score a goal and ask some questions of the oppositions defence, to try and exploit the gaps in behind the team dominating. It's a valid approach.
I think mourinho is the only top manager around who thinks it's valid to just not bother with an attacking plan for 90 minutes and defend from first to last whistle.
It's weird really. And given our frailties, you'd have to think there is some payoff in testing our defence at opportune moments. Mourinho didn't even want to know about that today. It's not like we're barca in their heyday. Hard to justify really.
