Turned over. What is he going on about now?

Said the possession shows that Liverpool were the best team and that they've come here and been on top the whole game.

Like the idea of ceding possession and setting up to counter doesn't exist in his tiny little mind.

Then told the host off for looking at him wrong. Seriously.

More than happy to take a point with the injuries, matic, martial, mata, lingard, Herrera all crocked. Rashford playing at only 50% carrying a knock.
Great effort all round, defensively really good limiting Liverpool to a couple of half chances. With a touch of luck we could have snatched it.
Fair play to McT and pierra, they dug in and didnt let us down.
Crowd got well up for it in the second half which helps the team, great to see OT bouncing.

Given the circumstances, that was a good performance and result, United had to dig deep and the effort and commitment was admirable.
I doubt Mourinho would have got that result from that game, so its shows that OGS has at least some tactical nous and awareness. For all that we kept hearing about Liverpool being dominant, they created very little and United actually looked more like scoring.
Souness having a bit of a hissy fit as I write this, he doesn't like the way the Sky presenter is looking at him :nono:He thinks Liverpool played very well but also made some pretty disparaging remarks about the lack of creativity in midfield.
United coped fairly well with what Liverpool had to offer today and given the injuries it was a good display with plenty of grit and hard work.

Some let down, this. Especially considering your injuries. In the end, you were closer to grabbing the win and we didn’t really create a chance all game.

How we survived that under those circumstances I have no idea. Young nearly single handedly lost us the game in the first half.

Liverpool seemed so poor too, we should of actually won that game at a few occasions in that match.

Well played to everyone especially Shaw and McTominay.

Ah, what would it have been, had Jesse chipped it or had Smalling lunged for that ball ...

Nevertheless, great, great stuff by the boys and Ole! OT was buzzing for the entirety of the game. Props to Rashford, anyone else would've limped off immediately. On to Palace, hope we have a strong, fit XI!

I can already see people will try desperately to act like we parked the bus in that match. People seem to confuse defending well with having a defensive game plan.

Considering the first half injuries, I was expecting a back to the wall job and to struggle to hold out. Yet our defence seemed to handle them with relativity ease, and I'm sure it would have been a bit of a boring game for the neutrals to watch. Would have been great if smalling could have got on the end of the cross at the end to get all three points.

In the end a good point, but all the injuries does leave the team in a bad spot for the next few weeks, as we don't have a whole lot of quality in depth.

The rating seems harsh on Lukaku. I thought he did well today out of position.

Good effort all round, especially Ole and Phelan having to cope with that fiasco in the first half. If only Smalling had the wit to throw himself at that chance. Even a strong breath would have put it away.

A good performance given the circumstances. We started slowly but after 30 minutes they didn't really trouble us. If only Smalling had put his foot in at the end we might have pulled off a win. McTorminay and Pereira did very well. The latter after a tough start.

Team spirit was outstanding. Shaw MoM for me but have say, Lindelof is turning himself into a top quality centre back. Kudos for Rashford who despite his injury (hope his efforts today don't lead to a long lay off) was still a far bigger threat than Lukaku.

Well, Liverpool did win the 24th of february trophy today.

Other then that, we were heroic considering Liverpool had 12 men on the pitch. Shaw/VNL motm.

Didn't look promising from the starting lineup, but Rashford getting smashed in the first 5mins, and then the other 3 injuries utterly depleted us.

Did well to get a draw in the circumstance.

Hopefully we can put some sort of lineup out v Palace midweek!

So proud of the players, real fight in them. And we still sent red shirts into their box.

When I saw the team sheet before the game I was worried not seeing Martial and Matic in the team and then to see us lose Herrera, Mata and Lingard to injury in the first half I thought Liverpool would win comfortably. But Liverpool were absolutely pathetic. Can't remember a single chance they created. We actually created the best chances in the game. Lingard in the first half had a good chance and Smalling could've scored if he had thrown himself towards the ball in the second.

We had McTominay and Pereira in midfield and they still couldn't beat us. Nevermind beating us, they didn't even create a single chance against us.

A massive point given half our first team are injured.

We created some chances, Smalling cost us a goal from his half a leg offside and at the end with a tap in missed.

However, better to be talking about what Smalling did wrong up front, rather than what he did wrong I'm defence.

I was worried he'd give away a pen after the previous match and all his grabbing.

If Liverpool had scored one they might have got the momentum to destroy us and they didn't get one so a great defensive effort.

In midfield McTomiwank showed he is entirely average once again. Similarly what did Pereira do? Lukaku isolated but battled with little to feed on.

Rashford was a warrior given he was limping from first half till the end.

Not sure if Sanchez did much, can't recall any moments.

The rating seems harsh on Lukaku. I thought he did well today out of position.

I thought he did well out on the right. He does a job there for Belgium and does it well. Stuck to his task well. I still think Pereira is too lightweight but he upped his game today as did McTominay. This will be a massive summer for us, whatever the club decides to do.

Jose was suppose to be a "defensive minded" manager, yet our defense has improved immensely under Ole. Credit to the whole team for playing together as a unit, having that extra bite in winning the ball and attacking on the break is great to see. Honestly with Martial, Matic and Herrera playing and Rashford being a 100%, United would have won this game. Special mention to Shaw, Perriera and McTominay for putting in some great performances, also Sanchez looked good coming on. We have lost that 4th spot to Arsenal, but we gonna beat them and take it anyway, and beat Chelsea too.

City will walk away with the title again. Their quality and ruthlessness is unreal.

Given the circumstances a point is decent. But we had the better chances which I think is why it sort of has a sour taste to it too.

Injuries fecked us over otherwise Liverpool were there for the taking. I mean is this the easiest game De Gea has had all season?

Kudos to Rashers for playing through injury.
I thought the much maligned Lukaku was good all game and created our best chances.
Pogba was good and did the work defensively.
Smalling and Lindelof looks like a top partnership.
Another solid game from Shaw. Man of the match performance.

Rest were okay.

Pereira does the hard work but his passing and awareness needs to improve. Needs to release the ball a lot quicker.
McTommy wasn't bad but wasn't good either. Could have cost us the goal.
Young had good as well as plenty of bad moments.
Sanchez puts in the hard work. For some reason I don't think his teammates like him. Pogba and Lukaku were reluctant to pass the ball to him.

Not chuffed, but well relieved with the result. Need some good news with the injuries. We have four very important games in the next 14 days.
