PL L FA Premier League

Manchester United 1:2 Manchester City

Post-match discussion

Sun, 10 December 2017

If we had 10 men without Lukaku we may have got a draw. City weren't at the races today but we were absolutely shocking. Title race is over for another year.

Lukaku must be drop no excuses of being a fav player from mourinho

Wake me up when the oil wells run dry...

Hope more fans lose interest in football and the wages of these frauds drop dramatically.

Sheikh Mansour has ruined football for me.

How has Michael Oliver become a Premier League referee?

He is consistently abysmal.

Shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football pitch.

How the hell has Silva not been sent off there?

I'm done.

The way we lost is even more frustrating.

Feck football. It is just a rich boy playground now and there's finally one kid who's dad has more money than everyone else and always will so there is no contest anymore and therefore no point.

Im done until they lose that ill-begotten record.

Hope all fans lose interest and Mansour loses millions on his pet teams. I know it won't happen but it's what they deserve.

Herrera-Matic never works. All 3 goals we’ve conceded against Pep’s City at home have been utterly shite.

"She canee take the strain capt'n!"
Sorry, we couldn't complete your request due to a temporary fault.

Please wait a few seconds (count to 10?) and try again…!

that bad...

Even if we'd got the second, you get the feeling they'd just up the tempo and go get a 3rd. Just not up to it.

Pathetic

I am a Republic of Ireland supporter and it was like watching them in red shirts today, except Ireland don't have 90m players playing for them.

Shocking performance

Title race looking like it might be over. Still a ways to go but we'd need a result against alot of the top 4 teams, including citeh themselves. Either that or be absolutely perfect in every match we play and pray that citeh drop points somehow.

shit. only turned up for the last 15 minutes or so. shameful

We were shit, City didn't have to be at their best to beat us. We made it easy for them.

You'd have thought the ball was a ticking bomb based on the way we rushed to hoof it as soon as we received it.

Everything Lukaku touched turn to shit, too.

That was a poor match. Showed nothing, wasn’t expecting much without Pogba but city were poor but still way ahead in terms of personnel and overall tactics. Lukaku needs to be taken off when he is having a poor game. Gives you nothing and genuinely looks out of sorts.

A good game to put into perspective where we stand.

We're a good, top table side, but we're a long way away from title candidates.

Always maintained Morata was the better fit for us. Lukaku being found out now for the garbage he is.

We lost to one of the strongest side in English football league history. So, it is not the end of the world. Going into the game, I never exPected a victory after Pogba got a red card.

We need better players.
LUKAKU needs an extended run on the bench.

We are in a scrap for top 4. Believe that

I have no words. City is plain lucky, penalty on Herrera not given, Mata's phantom offside, something that looks like a handball during Ederson's double save, Jesus not getting booked and many more instances that just made my blood boil.

Awful from Mourinho, absolutely awful...

What happened to our back 3? Away at Arse is a good practice for City at home. The back 3 works, we've worked on it, so play it.

You can't play hoof ball from minute 1 at home in a derby.

Rom isn't good enough.

And this City side aren't that good.

Could've won the game for us but bottled it instead on multiple occasions. Said it at the start, Morata made more sense for Manchester United.

The better team outplayed us. Zero complaints from me, though could've easily ended a draw. Would've been unfair on City though.

KdB was absolutely unbelievable, as was Michael Oliver for them. Joint MoTM.

Herrera and Lukaku our worst players.

Would've been a different story with Pogba.

I think now we can say the prem is headed to the blue half of manc....

Didn't think City were that good to be honest. We were pretty bad though.

Lukaku won't succeed at United. I have been saying that since we signed him.

I'd have taken Morata, Lacazette and would have loved it if it was Lewandowski.

Lukaku isn't right for us.

No excuses , they are just a lot better than us. People can give out about Jose and his tactics all they like but the fact is that Pep has far superior players to work with.

Is Lukaku ever going to turn up in a big game? Second thoughts if he had not turned up today we might have got something out of the game.

All we can do is move on, but they really really hurt. City are light years ahead of us. That should not have been allowed to happen.
