Starting to lose faith in Solskjaer capabilities to move the club forward, since he's been given the permanent role he's started to come out with very questionable statements such as the summer activity, the effort vs performance and even the tactical decisions and in game management has been a disgrace thus far. We have put in 3 good performances since Ole came in the rest has been intuitive positive contributions from Pogba which stalled after the PSG home fixture.

This smells like a yes man scenario

 Mate. City deserved the win. Our players are just not good enough. People need to see that now. We need to rebuild.

One area we were better than city was De gea and his poor mentality too made us look mediocre

To all the players, thank you for doing atleast the bare minimum of denying Liverpool an easy route to the title.

Now, you can all bloody feck off out of the club this summer. And that includes De Gea, Pogba and the French Nani on the left wing.

That's an insult. Nani contributed far more to this club than Martial has done during his time here.

What's depressing is how United try to play: parking the bus at OT. Shameful.

Apathy set in for me a while back but its the utter lack of basic principles of playing football that takes my breath away. I cannot see how our squad is PL quality let alone top 4!

100% agree. I was looking at Fred, Pereira - 2/3 of our midfield and they can not put 3 passes together. And people blame Pogba that he wants to leave. Who would want to play with mediocre players? I'm just fuming now - when other teams were getting B Silva, Mane, VVD and others we were getting Bailly, Fred, Darmian, Martial... Oh well - maybe in 3-4 years

Simply a better team. Nothing more than that. We knew this before the game.

Don't know what game people were watching if they saw "effort" in that. So running around a bit like headless chicken now counts as people putting in their best? These are professional footballers we are talking about here. If running is all it takes for some on here to commend their fighting spirit, pay me a 100 grand/week and I will do that for 90 mins non-stop.

Couldn’t agree more, I was cringing every time they mentioned the effort.

£700 million has been spent on that team since 2013, just think about that for one minute. That doesn’t even include wages.

What a joke this club has become. We are incredibly poor, can’t even buy more than 1 shot on goal at home.

Nani was far fecking better for us than Martial. I wish we had someone like him on the wing right now.

Please make the season finish! Oh feck I've got to go to the Chelsea game on Sunday!

For a team in relegation form, we put up a good fight and eventually City won on quality without much glaring mistakes from our end.
City are many levels above us in terms of quality in basic things like passing, crossing, finishing etc., and it showed. We always need 10 chances to score one. So today was certainly not the day that we would get that. Most of our players cant handle the ball or make a useful pass. And our players don't have enough cohesion to make the run anticipating a pass or to have a plan as such. It is more like someone makes a run, and then someone has to spot it and put in a useful ball. It is all a bit too much for the quality of our players and whatever they learn in our coaching sessions.

The defence struggles to get the ball into midfield, the midfield bar Pogba is more scrappy than quality, then the attack lacks movement and any real threat. Hold up play is non-existent and when the defence have to cope with any pressing whatsoever they hoof it and the ball comes straight back.

Repeat the cycle for 90 minutes plus the added bonus of a DDG Gift and you have the complete United performance.

Ow yes, then in the post match everyone blames Pogba.

We won everything with Ferguson, now our time has come to sucketh. Sell the club, sack everyone.

I have genuinely resigned to the fact that it's just our turn to be shite no matter what we do. We were at the top for so long and rode our luck countless of times year after year after year under Fergie, so it's only natural the footballing gods are punishing us a bit these days.

Gutted to be so far behind the top two. Three even.

But it's where we are, amazingly it's not the end though. Strange that we lose 2 in a row and there's still a chance of top 4. Arsenal have away games to come.

I thought after Everton that was it but it isn't. I'm gonna keep believing that we can take down Chelsea. What the feck else is there?

We need revolution. Wonder how the board will support Ole. But first here are few players who should never be here at first place
Lingard
Young
Rojo
Darmian
Fred
Andreas
Jones
Smalling
Sanchez

So how you gonna fix that?

DDG is my MOTM. Any other game vs any other team he makes these saves. Not today. Big games call for big players and he stepped up to the task.

Jokes aside, this is the first summer in a long time I'm genuinely excited for. We could finally witness the rebuild that's been needed ever since SAF left us for dead.

This.

It wasn't as bad as the last couple of games. We tried but we were shite. Nothing more to say.

Mortifying. We’re so far behind City that it’s baffling. Yes they’re financially doped, but they have a proper sporting structure in place, were the guys in suits identify talent that fits what the top manager wants from his players.
We have Woody and a revolving door of managers.

Don't forget... De Bruyne wasn't playing. Very one-sided. It's easy to give United credit for keeping it only 2:0 , but I don't think Pep wanted to hammer United 4/5:0... he doesn't want to place ole under too much stick. Ole will be busy in the transfer window.

Any team with top 4 credentials cannot consistently field players like Young, Lingard, Jones, Smalling etc. How we got to this state of affairs with the £££ we have blown is incredible. Every supposed 'top' player we have recruited has been total pants or at best shown rare flashes of potential. It will take a long time to recover from this mess but the cheque book needs to come out big style in the summer to start the process. Even more important all the dross needs moving on.

It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all...

We won’t win another title in the next 10-15 years.

Not good enough:
The Glazers
The board
Woodward
The players
The scouts

Can Ole turn this around? Quite obviously not since there are so many other things that must change.

Kind of expected. Defeated by 2 goals. No surprises. Better club atm with their current squad + Pep.

Let Pool believe for a few more weeks, then reality will hit hard: this is Pep's second consecutive PL.

I'm surprised at how angry people seem with this performance and how low the player ratings are. We tried today and most players had an okay game, we were just outclassed by a better team.

Pathetic again. Lingard crap. De Gea looks like he doesn't want to be here.

Fred what were his passing stats? He can't pass, has an inconsistent touch...and we paid 50 million for him

We need to sell half our team

I am jealous of City and I hate myself for it. Can’t believe I am saying that. Pep is the Fergie of the current era.

We are so fecked.

Completely agree. Board took the easiest cheapest path. They have no clue what to do here.

Why after conceding the first goal, we still hd 5 at the back?
Bad tactics game after another. Simply he looks not ready yet.
