Decent performance from the team but I hope Ole has learnt Mata and Valencia are finished.

Lindelof was MOTM.

Players looked leggy today. But even in the 96th minute, we had 4-5 players in their penalty box. Would never have happened with Jose in charge.

Vile game against a bunch of grotty, sh@t-stained Orcs and Goblins. Kept our heads, got the win. Great subs!

Feck you Benitez,
Feck you Newcastle,
Feck you Mariner.

Onwards.

Clean sheet. Nowhere near our best, but we still performed. Looked out of sync in the first half. The substitutes made the difference

I can half understand Pogba shooting when he did after beating the keeper, but Lukaku really should have passed it given the situation! Then again, 2-0 up in injury time I can see why. Good result though, would have liked another goal though.

Lindelöf, Shaw, Rashford, all very good today.

Rashford is class! Lindelof was really good too.

How we managed to keep a clean sheet with Jones and Valencia I do not know.

Good, solid performance. Players that looked like shite under Jose look rejuvenated under Ole.

Got nervy, but job done and a clean sheet. Immense performance from Lindelöf. The gap to Chelsea has been cut in half already. Top four is absolutely on at the moment.

Benitez is a bitter bastard, and Lascelles and Shelvey should be banned by FA retroactively. Absolute shower of cnuts.

Decent performance, finally a clean sheet despite this was probably the toughest we had since Ole took the job. Who is next ?

Herrera and Lindelof have been excellent today. It's between those two for MOTM. Another goal and assist for Rashford, he's really growing into a top striker.

Matic poor again as was Jones. Our transfer dealings should focus on bringing replacements for them.

They are the sort of games we have been losing post Fergie.

Good hard fought win after a busy festive schedule.

Ole.ole.ole.

Seemed our hardest game so far. Bit selfish in the end, could've knocked a few more in. All in all great result playing with 10 men for all ninety plus minutes.

6 points off 4th...... still a long shot but... there is hope!

Very happy because I thought this would be a tough match. Ole has passed this test. Well done to him!

Now for Spurs.

Very happy with the win. St James’ Park is a ground I hate going too.

This is the sort of game we would have either drawn or lost under Mourinho

Good result. Hope some of the players get some rest now.

Hard game that. Players were sloppy today too. We got through it though and in the end were comfortable. 4 wins on the trot. If we get something at Wembley, it'll be fantastic start to Old's reign.

Huge win at a tough place. Not as good as previous 3 but nevertheless had chances and were dangerous. Completely deserved victory. It's a big and important win in the sense that we proved we can win a tough away game, not just on a honeymoon so to speak in home games.

Best performance of the season that

Dominance and composure on the ball? Check
Always an attacking threat? Check
Defensively sound? Well two of them back there were

I know Newcastle aren't great but we wouldn't of won that game under Mourinho

Definite drop in energy levels today which is understandable but nice to see we still found a way to win and could have picked them off for a couple more if we'd made better decisions with the final pass.

6 points off top 4!!! Ole and the players have taken full advantage of our excellent Xmas fixtures with 12/12. Let's keep going but I'll enjoy seeing the youth against Reading.

More pleased with these 3 points than the previous 3 games. There is something very detestable about Newcastle and their stupid crowd.

I wondered what might happen when we play a team who play this deep and it wasn’t pretty but we still played well and tried to create. We’re not there yet but our football is 100x better than it was a few weeks ago.

Some of the players really looked tired today. I’m guessing the number of games has caught up to them. Hopefully we rest a few for reading and are ready for Tottenham.

Ole happy for Dave to get his clean sheet!

And feck yes! Chelsea have dropped points at home. Just shows how hard this festive period is, and puts the scale of this achievement into perspective. Brilliant stuff lads.

Clean sheet bitches :D

I think our problems are still obvious, fix em Woody

Great that we can still grind out results as well as thrashing teams!:)

Gap to 4th down to 6 points. There's no better team than United at chasing. It's on.

Tough match but we came through. Didn’t have it all our own way but we defended well and got a lucky opener. Rashford was rewarded for his effort in the end.
Thought Herrera and Lindelof were our best players this evening.

Hope Newcastle get relegated again. Shelvey needs to be given a 3 match ban. Ref let them play so hard first half, some of those pushes...

Typical Manchester United away against c'nts like these. Clean sheet and 3 points, so all good.
