I thought he showed a good awareness of Mata running in behind, he knew he didn't have the pace to get away so picked out Mata.

Terrible football, one of the most boring games I've seen recently but I'll fecking take the three points gladly.
I don't know how can one vote for a man of the match, when no player played like a bloody league three player, the man of the match is no one because everyone was shit.

Depay - oh boy, when will you show a glimpse of being a footballer? That late free kick was so close and could've given him the morale boost he needed but his extremely poor.
Mata - I don't know how he won POTM but he's useless out wide. I can't remember the last time I saw him win a physical tussle.
Lingard - has he touched the ball more than a couple of times in the game? Why the feck is he being played #10 when he has not even a single attribute fitting for that role, and why is Mata not being swapped with him for 75 minutes before either is subbed? What are we missing here??
Rooney - incompetent striker, lucky to get to the ball for the goal but did well to assist Mata. At one point I was sure he'll flop it but I'm delighted he made it count. Can't play not even a single further match for Manchester United as a striker.
Januzaj - poor boy for twice missing out on subbing in, but I think it was the right decision from LVG for a change. I'm one of Januzaj's biggest fans, but in such a big game the goal should've meant no fun for him.
Herrera - Poor performance yet again, but what sickens me the most is how much I think he could've flourished under a better manager who plays more freely. Terrible stuff.

It seems that the players of both Villa and Norwich simply turned up to the match, believing that they would & should lose.

At half time I turned it off and watched the Brighton game instead. That's unthinkable for me as i watch pretty much every possible minute of United games, but today was horrendous.
