Fantastic performance and result. Every player was a 7 it above. What I loved most is that we played 3 different ways, first 25 minutes like a home European team, last part of first half like an away team, second half we destroyed them like Man Utd used to destroy teams.

Fantastic 2nd half performance. Our energy levels and press against a team known for that style of play was immense. Fred covered some serious yardage tonight.

Rashford was the obvious game changer and what a 30 minute cameo from him. Martial was poor most of the night but as soon as he scored from the spot his confidence returned. At least 3 times he tore into the defender at full pelt, which is where he is most dangerous, having not done it once before the penalty.

The only thing missing was a Cavani goal to get himself off the mark.

Our pressing from the front and high working midfield completely nullified our CB problem.

Our defence when they pushed for an equalizer (+ our strong bench) was key to this win. Once they ran out of steam our quality was just to much to handle for them. They will miss Werner this season.
