That was a bit of a slog, a match lacking in quality and inspiration from both sides. Valencia had moments of menace and with a better final ball, and finishing, could have done a lot more damage than they did. A 0:0 at Old Trafford is a better result for them than for us that's for sure.

Our play was very disjointed and stop start. We had some short spells of pressure but never truly had Valencia's backs against the wall. We look a team short on confidence and with two back to back games against Juventus next up, it's crunch time in Group H.

Not a performance to think we're turning the corner, yet.

I thought we didn't play too badly in the second half. There is still life in this team and this manager.

Both teams should get fecking thrown out of this competition for being shit.

Wish we could play yung bois every week.

No thanks, nothing I can say after that performance.

I swear I saw Norris from Corrie in the crowd

Just fcuk off Mourinho. Cnut.

What a boring match.

Thankfully Valencia couldn't finish their dinner so we got away with it.

Bag of nerves on show for me. Scared to try anything going forward, which highlighted the lack of quality of some even more.

Thought we did OK in the second half, but maybe my expectations have been trampled on and crushed.

Two DMs on the pitch that provide zero creativity, why didn't Fred come on was beyond me.

Valencia were horrible. First time in a while that haven’t played better football than us.

Shaw was good, Pogba was okay, put a good shift in, Rashy kept trying to make things happen. Sanchez, Lukaku and Matic were awful.

My local team was playing so I have to pass the game. Glad I did.

Crap as expected, the fact some were complimenting the play early on shows how far we've sunk, 5 minutes of reasonable, non threatening football is greeted as if we are witnessing miracle stuff. Get him out, he's destroying this football club.

We may have no system in our attacking football with Fellaini our main threat but I didn’t see any lack of effort there.

Four games without a win, please just beat Newcastle on Saturday.

Entirely too predictable. Shite performances from everyone, only Rashford looked bothered, and he was incredibly ineffective for the most part.

At least the effort was there tonight, unfortunately the quality was still lacking.

Just dull, lacklustre and incredibly uninspiring rather than embarrassing tonight. Manchester United.

No lack of effort, big lack of skill, as usual really.

Can't believe there are still teams incapable of scoring against us, that Guedes was comedically poor for Valencia. They had zero end product today.

I'm at the point where I reckon our U18s would have a chance of beating us. Matic and Fellaini don't have a crumb of creativity between them, should be outlawed when we have Fred and Pereira wasting away. Only entertaining thing about the match was Bailly shooting from 40 yards out.

I swear teams actively look to give us free kicks because of how little threat we offer from them, speaking of set pieces someone for the love of God get Rashford off corners. I didn't expect much but I'm still disappointed.

A.Valencia looks about 40 way he's playing, he's been a great servant to the club but the sooner he's benched the better.

The sooner Jose leaves the better - I don't know how the board can accept this type of football

Fellaini and Matic another 90 minutes. Herrera, Periera and Fred nowhere to be seen. Jose is killing us, not fast but slow and painfully.
