We'll get the usual excuses about too many games and players being tired, but the truth of it is that when there is something so rotten at the heart of the club (the owners) the players have just taken turns throwing successive managers under the bus.

You can make any number of excuses but cannot deny that our current squad is in no way deserving of playing in the CL. We as fans have to put up with the apathy of the players and their half arsed effort but if I'd could have the power there is not many in the squad of 25 surviving the sack!

Where the feck was the midfield today?! I've lost count of how many times Shaw and Lindelöf passed the ball between them and DDG. At times, I couldn't even see a midfielder in the frame, everyone was so stupidly up the field. Terrible result. We needed this win to take some of the pressure off of us from the chasing pack and then we go and lose, we could not let it happen but you have gone and done it. De Gea should hang his head in shame, we had total control of the game until he threw it away. The other story is that it is now 1 goal in three, we do create chances but none of them look like they are going to put them away.

4th place is still in our hands but right now this team has no legs and no form. If ETH can’t change that in the next 6 days then we won’t have a chance either.
