Wolves should be ashamed of themselves, but we played better than I would think

Amad was good today, Mjebri looked class and had only few mins. Elanga played well too. Tuanzebe was rock solid. James decent. Telles was quite poor.

Brilliant performance & result that from the boys. Everyone of them had a great game with Amad and Hannibal really looking the part. Donny class in the middle too.

Very good solid performance all round. Wolves rarely looked threatening and the midfield and defence certainly stood up to them. Who'd have imagined Matc, Mata and DVB would actually look like a cohesive unit. MotM for me Tuanzebe, lad gets so much stick for not performing in the 1 game he gets every few weeks and is expected to perform like he's getting a regular run of games.

Outstanding result in a ground United hadn't won in since 2012 and did it with a 2nd string side.

Some really good individual defensive displays especially 2nd half. Because of that good work Henderson had little to do.

Most impressive to go the whole Premier league season unbeaten away just need to keep that going for next season and sort out the home form.

Very happy with that, ending the season unbeaten away. The glazers need to sanction an Old Trafford revamp next season so that we play the entire season away, we'd win the league.

Now on to the big one.

Enjoyed the game although we didn’t have a lot of chances in second half. Great to see Elanga and Mata (possibly last game) score and Amad had another solid showing.

Very happy for DVB. He showed he can play in the EPL. Provides great composure in passing the ball out from defense. Axel - he has to start over Bailly in the final.

Generally happy with all the lads but Bailly worries me. He is prone to making catastrophic mistakes. Just too much of a risk to start in the final.

Good game, the lads were fantastic. VDB solid, hope more of the same. Hannibal is surprisingly very strong, especially for his age. So happy for Mata, probably his last game for us.

Some exciting young prospects got a game today. Played some decent stuff at times.
nice to finish the season on a high and hopefully the big guns are fresh, fully prepared and raring to go for weds days final

Good win and the young lads looked good - biggest disappointment was Williams who looked poor and needs to go on loan next season hasn't improved

Great goal by Elanga, great game from VdB and Tuanzebe, Mata's (hopefully) last match for ManUtd, ruining Nuno's farewell game. 10/10.

Good result and a good watch. Unbeaten away record in tact which is something to be proud of. A good performance from what was very much a reserve side out there. Some of the younger players were very impressive. Elanga put in a fine shift and his header was great after a similar quality ball in by James.

Happy to see Mata get on the scoresheet if it will be his last game for us. I've always liked him so it was a nice moment.

I know we saw very little of him, but I really did like the fight we saw in Hannibal. He was strong and was holding balls up with little problem. Seemed very determined to not lose possession too which I liked. He certainly wasn't shy!

Thoroughly enjoyed that, expected a drawer at best and it could have been more convincing too, very pleased :D

Its a win. I am pleased seeing the earlier results.

And unbeaten away all season for the first time.

Very glad for the youngsters who were involved today. Thought they might feel the Nuno effect on his last game but it appears it was the Wolves players who were overcome by the situation. Some good performances for us but was pleased with Mata today in maybe his last game. Overall a very good day for us especially keeping our unbeaten away record.

Can't make my mind up about MoM. some good performances especially at the back where the customary panic was missing! OK Wolves weren't great but you have to presume they weren't great when the likes of City or Chelsea played them. as they say: you can only play what's in front of you.

Glad Ole gave the youngsters a game, much better than the second string players.

Easy once again. Even if it is different players. We have found our way playing.

I really enjoyed that. The youth and vigour. Glimpses of a good future. Seriously impressive to finish the season unbeaten away. Well done Ole and the lads. Only sour taste today is seeing the Dippers in the top 4. We could have nailed that coffin for them. Sigh...

Good to finish league campaign with win and keep our unbeaten away record going.

Some promising youngsters but we really need a quality coach to keep their development going to be ready for first team.

On this showing Tuanzebe gets my vote to start on Wed!

Mata's gone

I might be in the minority but I'd be happy if Mata stuck around another year. There's few better role models for the kids, Marcus Rashford MBA included. Enormously popular player in the dressing room, everyone at the club would be happy if he takes another year as a squad player. .

Brilliant win really. Our youngsters look fantastic. We're bang on course to have a top team again.

Wharton are you saying? Rashford holds an MBE not MBA, is lack of sleep Sloan you down?

Just watching the interview he wouldn't be drawn on his future. He said he knew what he wanted and physically he still wants to keep playing.

It sounded to me like he's off as he wants to be playing more games.

To get a win away from him against a Premier League team with a team just thrown together is fantastic. 6 academy graduates making an appearance too.

Some nice football played today. Good to see the youngsters get a run out and impressed with them all. Tuanzebe was my MOTM and has put himself ahead of Bailly for Wednesday.

Superb result given the personnel. Performance to match. Obviously some great coaching to go with it. Love seeing our youngsters develop. Finished with 7 academy players or graduates on the pitch. More on the bench.

The Kids Are Alright.
Best summation. I had zero expectations with that lineup. Not to say I was expecting anything bad, I just had no idea what we'd see. This lot acquitted themselves very well.

Elanga was much stronger this game than against Leicester. Amad did fine. James had good movement in the middle, but his finishing...

Van de Beek finally had a good game, and played well with Matic (who seemed a bit quiet) and Mata, who I'm glad took and made the pen.

Thought we played very well defensively, and Tuanzebe was my MotM for his efforts keeping Henderson out of trouble. Only downside to me was Williams on the ball - he doesn't seem to know what to do with it about half the time.

Ole took a bold track with this and got the points as a reward. The squad was impressively strong for the duration of the match, which was one of my main fears. Good on him doing what he did, we should be VERY fresh for Villareal.

A couple of key buys this summer and we should a solid basis for a squad for the next four or five years. Yeah, the kids are alright...

Our academy wins again.

Has any manager given more minute to academy players? Or more debuts? And they've all had their own moment too.
