We got out of jail today . Where would Mourinho be without DDG and Fellaini ?

Phew....

I thought we were decent in the first half. Nice and lively just missing that little bit of quality when it came to finishing.

The thing that annoyed me most was Linekars tone of voice and commentary at half time, making out we were shite because it was 0-0 when loads of other games were also 0-0. Including the likes of Man City and Juventus.

The second half was pretty dire though. End to end against Young boys doesn’t inspire confidence.

That was about as bad as I've ever seen any Man Utd team play, especially when you look at who we were playing

Another crack has been papered over

Papers over the cracks yet again

Happy that we won and qualified but that performance was abysmal. Brutal stuff.

Worrying performance, again. The goal papered over cracks against a very mediocre team at Old Trafford.

Our 'attack' is embarrassing. We should have put that game to bed at half time. Its pointless to dwell on the 'attacking' contribution of our forwards since they were all terrible. Its shocking how many chances some players seem to need to put the ball in the back of the net.

Absolute rubbish. Made a meal of it and played more dull football. Not good enough, something needs to change

Could and should have been a comfortable evening. A lack of composure combined with poor finishing and bad decision making in the final 3rd made for a very edgy last half hour with big Dave keeping us in the game before Fellaini popped up to win it.
Poor overall but at least we're through.

Jesus that was frustrating to watch. Very lucky to get there in the end. Not exactly how you'd picture the typical Fellaini last minute goal. De Gea once again showing how priceless he is for us.

I thought we were? I’ve no solitary clue what other position he could’ve possibly been playing..
He was playing the Fellaini position. High time to name it after him, really.

I watched the whole thing and I think I deserve payment for doing that.

De Gea making a top tier save was the highlight of the match.

Full backs shite. Midfield shite. Forwards shite.

Brilliant stuff.

Matic needs a serious rest, he is clearly knackered and has been shit for 2 months now. Completely on Mourinho that.
Definitely starting the Southampton game. Jose will run him to the ground and drag him along the ground, but not drop him

This game showed that we’re both lacking in quality and management.

We are absolutely dire at attacking, from passing to shooting. Often what should be bread and butter stuff for players at United too.

No chance I'm celebrating that. The fecking disaster of a United-manager gets to stay on for a few more months.

I honestly cannot see the point in us going through. I guess, we got more reward money but we'll just get embarrassed in the next round.

I can't believe we had the gall to play 'Glory Glory Man United' at the end of that.

The first half was ok build-up with no composure whatsoever in front of goal, second half was a disgrace.

Well done to DDG for that save, well done to Fellaini for staying at it until the end and showing literally our only piece of quality play in the box tonight (I'll ignore the handball). Everyone else ridiculously poor in that half, worryingly so.
Actually it's played after every game.

Dreadful, joyless game. That we won with the kind of hoofed long ball goal that Niall Quinn would have been proud of feels very apt.

A goal that saved a whole lot of humiliation, even though it was pretty embarrassing on the whole.

It prolongs the agony which I hate to say. The board with their battered housewife mentality will go “I’m giving him another chance! He can change!”... The blind devotion fans will cite all that stuff about Sir Alex saying stand by your manager and Gary Neville will passive aggressively say the fans who want him sacked are idiots and don’t know what they’re talking about.

The cycle continues.

Fellaini and Matic was overkill. Should have started Mata instead of Fellaini. Would have taken Matic off instead of Fred as well.

Let's play Fellaini up front against Southampton. I bet he scores 2.

That was the first game in a while where I actually laughed out loud to myself about 5 or 6 times and where I genuinely felt like we had clowns on the pitch. Rashford in particular, that was a circus performance.

Corner turned lads!

We are absolutely shit. Dog shit. fecking horse shit. Team full of spineless cnuts. Dinosaur manager who needs to feck off. Board who can get fecked too. Farce of a club. feck off United.

A shocking performance bailed out by De Gea and saved by a long ball.

Has been said too many times under Mourinho’s reign. I do wonder without De Gea how many games we would have lost.
