I think this is easily doable for United in terms of money and realistic targets to fill positions of need. In a crucial Summer like this, if you think United can’t do >£200m net spend you’re kidding yourself. We’re already heavily linked with Fernandes+Bissaka (clear favourites atm) and are finalists for De Ligt.
Only real concern is selling Lukaku and not adequately replacing his goals but that’s a risk I’m sure United and myself here are willing to take if it means balancing out everything else. I’d much rather that than getting a replacement ST but not getting a RW if you get what I mean. Rashford+Martial can primarily play as central striker while having Greenwood mix in games when need be every now and then as well. As far as I’m concerned, it’ll be a make or break season for Martial and/or possibly Rashford. We’ll see what they’re made out of and their future will be decided by themselves, whether or not to keep them or not depending on if they’re deemed reliable according to this season’s performances.

- For centreback DeLigt if we're lucky, if not I'd go for Maguire. Keeping Smalling and Tuanzebe whilst selling Jones and Rojo
- in midfield I feel we need to keep Pogba for one more season but we also need two more players. Fernandes seems impressive and van de Beek could be good value. I like Ndidi and Ndombele fits the profile too.
- In attack Sanchez needs to go, as does Lukaku if the fee is right. I'd give Martial one more season to show his worth. I want Sancho but realistically he is not available nor can we afford him if we make the signings I have listed. So we wait until next summer for him. But young James can't be relyed upon straight away and Rashford is inconsistent so we need an attacker too but I'm not sure who the best option is on that front.

If Manchester United can't make those signings happen then we're not as big of a club as we think we are. I can't suggest better than making money over the summer AND end up with a better team/squad.
Gk - De Gea - most likely stay at the club, I don’t imagine we will get good value for him if we were to sell due to his contract.
LB - Shaw - No speculation on any left back targets. Guessing Ashley Young and Dalot will be backup.
RB - AWB - Will probably sign him for £50m, good RB and probably our best option to buy at the moment.
CB - Lindelof and Maguire. Maguire is decent, pretty reliable and English so that’s a bonus, hefty price tag but if he is the best option available then get him as our defence is shocking. Lindelof is ok, in my opinion overrated simply because the rest have been diabolical.
Midfield - Fred, Mctominay, Fernandes - I think we have missed out on Rabiot, Pogba wants out and should be sold if that’s the case. Not many rumours on any other targets except Longstaff so unless something else is in the woodwork we are pretty fecked in midfield. One of the worst midfields we will have had in a long time. But hopefully something is happening which we don’t know about.
Wingers/forwards - Rashford, Martial, James - screams inconsistency for me. Who genuinely believes Rashfords and Martials form is going to dramatically change over the summer and James isn’t exactly going to be a world beater in his first season with us. We need a striker and RW but I don’t have a clue who it will be so these are the three I have chosen.
If it stays like this our defence will be more solid but we won’t get the goals no matter how many Fernandes has scores in the Portuguese league.
