Premier Le4gue Gam3week 14

The knee jerk reactions to this about our defence will be ridiculous but it really is a simple case of us missing Matip. Karius has a long way to go though. Not convinced by him at all.

If we keep losing once every 15 games I'll be fine with that this season.

Crystanbul was Crystanbul. How do we call this?
In any case beautiful Sunday afternoon so far. :D

I know they're only four points behind but damn I hope this stops some of the arrogance from Liverpool supporters. All I've been hearing from Pool fans I know and reading online is that the title race is only between them and Chelsea and they have a far better team than anyone else.

3-1 up, 4-3 defeat. Their squad is far too small and requires too many players to play far above their average level to win the league.

Not really true is it? For the most part we've looked fine at the back this season. We're heavily reliant on Matip.

Even with Matip, you always look a little shaky.. with him though you feel that Liverpool will always see it out eventually if they do go through trouble. Anyway for me today's performance told me everything I need to know about this Liverpool side, they will inevitably collapse when the pressure is on near the end of the season.

Story of your season. All the minnows have worldies against you, then roll over for us. So jammy, right?
At least you got to see personally the minnows having a worldie against you, they do exist! :)

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

True, we did finish 8th last year with Migs Lucas and Lovren a large part of that. Does prove that we probably dont have enough to go the title distance, could do with another Matip and a backup in terms of similar attributes for Mane.

Bournemouth is a great team to go see. I've been there a few times and never seen a match with less than 6 goals  Once you get from Boscombe closer into Bournemouth it's a lovely spot too.

It must add salt to the wound when you consider the winner was scored by a player on loan from your title rival...

Matip is the one that keeps that defensive mess organised. You pull him out and it´s Jenga.

That shot that bounces just in front of the keeper is always hard to hold.

What a disgraceful performance from Bournemouth, they lost this game before even stepping on the field.

you were saying?

So salty, even when you were winning  Can't imagine what you're like now, try not to kick the cat in frustration!

I don't think we do look that shaky with him in the side personally. Without him we've conceded 8 goals from the 17 conceded this season. I don't think we can win the league but I still expect us to get top four from the position we're in.

No complaints. That was a shambles, some of these players go to shit when not being carried by the better ones.

I've said it before, but I just don't think a Henderson and Can midfield will win you the league.

Yes your keeper and defence aren't great either but those two are limited IMO.

Matip is definitely important but so is Mané imo. He is always the first to press the opponent hard as soon as Liverpool loses the ball and often enough wins it. Without him the pressing is non existent and their defensive vulnerability at the back gets exposed.

It's the players that put the ball in the net not Howe still think he's an overrated manager

That was sweet though no denying it

So if Bournemouth do well, its the players
If they go 2-0 behind, its Howe, cos hes overrated or something.
hmmm got it.

I am kinda confused at what people are expecting him to be doing at Bournemouth though. Is he meant to be challenging for Top half finish? Top4? A challenge for the title?

It's one game. I still think Liverpool will be in this race and could pull it off, but as it stands, Conte has got one hand near that trophy.
