Premier Le4gue Gam3week 14

Kun't bad tackle on Luiz -Fernandinho going gung-ho - both sent off

City are such a small time club, pretending to be big. Pep is an idiot for joining such a bunch of jokers. You manage two incredible, prestigious clubs and have your pick of ANY club, in any league, anywhere in the world. And you going to Man City. A club so embarrassing and pointless they could disappear from existence and nobody would even notice or care. It's like Andy Murray giving up tennis in his prime to join the pro squash player tour.

Cesc slapped him though. And got away with it. But nothing special tbh, a little slap.

Pep was getting away with plenty of antics according to Nev!

I can't believe you've gotten so wound up about that tongue in cheek comment. And in a thread about a game your team isn't involved in on a forum of a team that wasn't playing.

Also, the only person whose thrown his toys out of his pram in this thread is you, everyone else has had a top time watching the game.
It's not a tongue and cheek comment when it's posted non stop and many people quote you following suit from one person saying so a few weeks back after you pointed out the myth and nonsense in a post he made. Funnily enough that same person regularly quotes me and I've ignored him non stop up until today and hit back with the United comment. Then again this person was wax lyrical over Barcelona beating City, so not sure what goes on in his head.

I've thrown nothing out of the pram, really enjoyed the game and found many of the posts funny.

That was very impressive from Chelsea. 8 wins one the spot and a convincing win away vs a title rival is the thing champion teams do. Three at the back really has worked brilliantly for them. Yes, you can point to that miss from De Bruyne but it's not Chelsea's fault he missed a sitter. They're unrecognisable from the disaster that was the first half of last season.

15 million a year. Some joke

It's brilliant. Spectacles like these was part of the reason I liked to watch football back then.

I don't know man. I'd rather see our players react like this to a loss rather than how they did earlier in the season vs Chelsea.

Was there ever a point under Fergie where we had two players sent off at once because we lost? There's a line to be drawn that City crossed today. I don't see an excuse for it personally. I hope the FA take action against the club.

Disgraceful challenge and disgusting behaviour from City, indirectly started by Pep when Chelsea celebrated the 3rd goal.

Was impressive from 1-1 but until that Chelsea were pretty poor and the game should have been out of sight IMO. Breath-taking on the counter attack though, although City's defenders are horrific.

Costa was fantastic.

What did he do?
He's the same as Aguero, being portrayed as a nice chap and all but not being one at all.
Winners aren't always nice in competitive situations doesn't stop them being nice outside the arena.

Rocky Marciano was a nasty piece of work in the boxing ring but the nicest kindest guy outside. Some people know how to channel

It was tongue in cheek though, I should know, I was there when I said it. Don't take things so seriously pal, its an internet forum.

Who said anything about Fergie? I'm just saying, given the choice between the two, I'd take City's reaction today than ours a few weeks back.

Hoping FA is fair and hands out a suspension and fine to Pep for ironically clapping at ref's decision when they got that freekick

You'd take a classless dirty reaction over what?
Pathetic response

Anyone have a gif of Pep sarcastically clapping the ref near the end. I was in stitches laughing. It was like something a child would do.

What did Pep do? My river missed the third goal (but not the handbags, luckily.)

Yeah but I meant they're treated nice on the pitch too or being regarded as nice.
I watched the game on and off, what did Pep do?
Riled up the fans, his players, kicked a bottle? :)

If you have to rile up your fans that much you really are a plastic club

Fabregas with a slap to the face, then puts on the innocent face. Hilarious.

I'd take our players kicking off than smiling and laughing with the team who just handed their asses over to them. But that's just me. You don't have to agree.

Nahhh, don't try climb up on my podium of idiocy.

I think there were a lot of doubters after Arsenal spanked us 3-0 and before we went to 343.

Wtf, why does he wear a wig that looks like my one-armed niece cut it with two spoons?

It's not a wig, it's the same surgery thing that Rooney had.

Loved his non-reaction once he got the reaction he wanted from Fernandinho. This shit is natural to him. Must have training on internet forums or something

Reminded me a little of Keane v Shearer from years ago.

I would not at all be surprised to see us overtake City at some point this month, we've been looking really good whilst they seem to be going backwards.

It's the most comparable point to when we were competitive on this level. I agree our reaction against Chelsea wasn't good, I'd suggest though that the difference in reaction was due to Chelsea playing us off the park for 90 minutes whereas City were the better side for 60 minutes of this game and blew it.

I don't. A violent reaction to defeat is pathetic and sends out a terrible message to young fans and players

Far too much was made of the smiling etc

I don't want to see any of our players trying to break legs. Scumbags like that belong inside.
