Premier Le4gue Gam3week 14

If it's not a pen then the ref bottled giving a yellow card for a dive then.

Just look at the players Liverpool have in their defense. If sides actually had the quality in attack to get at the likes of Lovren and Lucas they could cause trouble. Their central midfield is pretty average, too.

Liverpool's pressing means that these small teams have no chance to expose their weaknesses.

Good tactics then. All people can hope is all that pressing takes it toll on them later in the season. You would think by next season they will be physically used to playing it.

Yeah, that was meant as a compliment rather than a dig. Klopp, like Conte, is a masterful coach. Gets the absolute most out of his players.

What the...?
Howe is doing a great job. And has done a great job at Bournemouth for a while.

One bad half against the best team in the league doesn't change that.

Thought that was pen.

second look that would have been soft as hell. Seen em given though

Sometimes even the video replay will be a bitch for teh umpire. Contact? Very Likely. Dive-ish fall? Probably? Penalty? Hmmmm. If they do it like American Football, it´s probably decision on the field stands. And if the original call was penalty, it would have stood as well.

Liverpool look physically far stronger then Bournemouth.

Klopp is amazing. Oh how we laughed when he took over in october from Brendan, how we enjoyed his similar record to Brendan.... he is a class act :(
Laughed? I thought it was a fecking disaster he was taking over them and so it is proving. Anyone who laughed at the appointment was probably deluding themselves.

Outside of the goal Mane has been a little shit the last few weeks. He´s had a lot of good situations, where he is getting stuck with his dribblings or misplaced passes.

A bit like you overrate Spurs players.
That doesn't change the fact Pogba's been very, very good for a while now.
Do you not agree with that?

He's improved certainly, following series of distinctly lack-lustre performances, but nowhere near enough to justify the claim concerned.

I don't know if Southgate is any better, but I hate when people say Howe is a great manager, he is really nothing special and has an annoying personality
Southgate is not any better but he is perfect for the FA. Especially after Allardyce. He's squeaky clean, dull, boring. Perfect indeed.

Indeed. I think he has the tools to become a world class player but not the mentality, e.g. hunger and concentration.

You're probably right, athough he'd certainly take a place in the Spurs team though.

That was a stonewall penalty. If the ref can't get a decision like that correct when he's standing right in front of it, you have to question if he's qualified for the job.

Apparently Henderson has become the first Premier League player to reach 1000 passes this season. I wanted him dropped after Burnley but credit to Klopp for sticking with him.

What a disgraceful performance from Bournemouth, they lost this game before even stepping on the field.
That's what happens when - like Liverpool - you play consistently well, swat half of your opponents, and create a fear factor.
It's what happened many many times under Sir Alex at United.

Story of your season. All the minnows have worldies against you, then roll over for us. So jammy, right?

I think you might be trying to find a hidden insult in his post that wasn't there to begin with.

Seen Francis against Arsenal and Liverpool today and he looks a truly average player alongside being arguably the slowest player in the league.
