Premier League 19-21 Oct

1-1!! Has one of our strikers scored in the EPL this season yet??? NO, its Hazard!

That's incredible. Wilshere's touch when he flicks it back was stunning.

Anyone have a video of the Van Persie goal? Think Rooney was offside.

 at the Norwich defenders. Not poor defending, they are just dumbfounded!

I know its only Norwich but I am starting to seriously consider Arsenal a big threat!

You can't be serious? Newcastle were time wasting at every opportunity, I honestly think there should have been another 2-3 minutes on top of what the ref already added.
There were only 4 minutes given. Very impressive if they managed to waste 2 minutes after the 90 were up.

Incredible goal from Arsenal. The speed of their counter, passing and movement was fantastic. More reminiscent of Wenger's great teams.

Wow that Arsenal goal was special.

And Hazard's goal was an absolutely shocking display of refereeing.

That goal is ridiculous. I can't help but feel it would have been perfect if Wilshere had side-footed it wide of the post.

Looked it to me. Equals itself out though seeing as RVP was incorrectly given offside when he went clean through.

Another conspicuous decision in Chelsea's favour today, must be the JM effect.

How the feck was that Chelsea goal allowed? You cannot do what Eto'o did, you could many years ago. The keeper has the ball in his possession.

The keeper was stupid to do what he did with a Chelsea player next to him, why take the risk of bouncing the ball like that ? Make no mistake it was a foul by Eto'o IMO but I think the keeper "asked" for it with his stupidity.

Is Eto'o really that shit these days?

That Chelsea goal shouldn't have stood according to FIFA rules. The goalkeeper bouncing the ball is still in possession. So they should have got a free-kick and Eto'o should have been booked. Woeful from the ref.

Can anyone dig out the rules for incidents like that? I remember Ole getting booked for nicking it from the keeper as he was about to kick it... Might be different if they're just bouncing the ball right next to an opposition player though..

That Cardiff keeper needs a colossal slapping for gifting them this goal. What an utter tool. They'll go on to get drubbed now.

Just picture the defenders, working hard to keep Chelsea out, you run up field, ball safely in your keeper's hands.
Hear the crowd, turn round, your twat of a keeper has presented the ball straight to them
Why bounce the ball anyway?!

I think Eto'o could only do that if the keeper threw the ball up into the air and let it bounce, then it would not be considered within his possession. It's unsporting conduct and should be a yellow card.

FIFA rulebook - GK considered to be in possession of the ball 'while in the act of bouncing it on the ground'.

I hadnt seen that goal, wow no way should that of stood.

Reminds me of the Nani incident vs Spurs a while back, although wasnt that technically legal, just unsporting?
