Premier League Fixtures (26 - 29 Dec)

Gera has been brilliant in this match. He has been everywhere, Literally!

It's amazing how he's not made the step up to a top club, yet.

From BBC:

"Two-man sack race at the Cottage, Hughes taking a surprise lead."

fecking catastrophy for us - now Birmingham will be nice and fresh - not to mention that both Johnson and Zigic are on 4 yellow and would be suspended if they got their 5th today.

Catastrophy!!!!!

That montage on Sky Sports was great. Anyone see it?

Newcastle have gifted Shitty both goals really. Shocking defending from them.

Wolves fans chanting "We want McCarthy out". Should Wolverhampton sack him?

"You want to sack me?"

I think it would be harsh to sack him. He got them promoted and saved them last season, he deserves to stay.

Unfortunately managers don't get to reap rewards for what they have achieved, if they are not constantly moving the team forward they are canned, it's bloody stupid. Look at Houghton, takes over a club in crisis, settles the team, gets them promoted and gets key players really doing the business and has them in a solid mid table position - sacked. Fergie Jnr got the can too after doing great things with Peterborough; the problem is that chairmen see the team rising at a great rate and expect it to continue at the exact same rate, not realising that the rise gets infinitely harder the higher you get.

I would never have started Van der Vaart this early after the last injury he got.
