Yeah …. I don’t see where this is a management issue. Roman making the manager the scapegoat every other year and putting together a frankenstienish lineup without any of the “core philosophy” they are trying to instill now is the Primary issue.
This has been a problem 4 years or so in the making at least.
And that’s considering that, again, we are missing 6 players penciled in as “starters” entering the season.

It only exacerbates the issues, but this lineup doesn’t just need additions, it needs to make hard decisions about some key subtractions from the books as well.
If I told you we had a midfield core of Jorgihno and RLC trying to slow down Arsenals attack, with the creaky Azpi trying to cover either Martinelli or Saka …. Losing1-0 is a miracle work of coaching.

How many times have we blown a 2 goal lead at VP in last 30 years in this fixture? So yeah Shaw shot that was going miles over the ball that somehow off a slight deflection flies into top corner on stroke of half time is quite a crucial piece of play in this matchup.
