Premier League Gameweek 16

Honestly, I'm not even concerned about Liverpool winning anymore like last year and 13/14. I'm just focused on us getting better.

Grealish is a hard working player, which is why Villa could get away with using him as a CM in the Championship, so I reckon he's been instructed to stay up for potential counters. Plus, he's made more tackles than Maddison so far. 2 to his 1.

Maddison averages 2.2 per game (not 2 in a one off game) more than Fred (2) and slightly less after yesterday's match than McTominay (2.3)

Grealish's 1.5 will go up after making 2 tackles today but its one match out of a season.

Great header from Evans!

Set pieces are probably the most undervalued form of creating chances. There is so much room for improvement.

Leicester clearly seem to have worked on a few different corner routines which is good to see. Makes a change to seeing teams hitting them aimlessly into the box.

We are extremely poor at them. We don’t have a player who can deliver a consistent delivery and when we do get the ball in the box, Maguire is our only real threat. Smalling was a decent threat in the past.

Well they'd play different roles, else you arent making the most of Grealish. Once again he scores playing left wing. He doesnt score when he plays in CM.

So we'd have to replace Rashford with Grealish which doesnt sound smart to me.

It was a great cross with his left foot, something I havent seen yet from Grealish despite playing left wing.

I'd want to see Grealish left in a central midfield 3 in a 433 if we bought him whereas Maddison I could only see as a 10 in a 4231

Vardy is so good. Wish we’d signed him.

Could you imagine him flanked by Rashford and James.

That Villa player pretending to be injured and be in a lot of pain after Pereira made that fair tackle on the ball... only to get up and run when play just went on

i despise modern day footballers so much

Leicester currently playing the best football in the league imo. They switched out the two wingers today as well and the transition has been effortless.

Been a shambles since the opening ten minutes.

Leicester are very very good though and bar massive injury crisis will be comfortably in top 4. Another very good year's work on the coaching field from Brendan Rodgers.

Leicester tried to play this way under Puel getting their FBs forward but there was always stuff missing in midfield and defence. Now they look fantastic.

If Leicester needed 3 points to win the League on the last day, we will gladly help ;)
Nah, the title is theirs to lose. 8 points gap and they're clearly the best team at the moment. Shouldn't have lost against you and should've drawn with them to have a small chance.

Even at 32, Vardy is as good as any striker in his prime and doesn't look to have lost much of his pace at all, constantly beating the offside trap. Which blows the caf theory that a player is useless beyond the age of 30 to smithereens.

Where are the Celtic fans that were saying Rodgers was an idiot for leaving now
