Doom-monger obsessed with Herrera & the M.E.N.
Which should get the alarm bells ringing. Maybe we should save the money and get Luke back to his best?Danny Rose not looking like the player he was before his injury so far.

Bit like Robben players always seem to show him on to his left and then wonder why he smashes into the netIt’s like Spurs don’t realise Sane is left footed.
I agree, but tell that to the 500 mou’s tactics are shite threads![]()
There is being bitter and calling them an oil club, and then there is this other end of the spectrum. Everything in moderation, ffs.
only 2min of added time? Wasn't Kane lying on the floor for at least 3min?
Nothing makes me more irrationally angry in football than watching Raheem Sterling run around with his floppy t-rex arms and goofy stride.
I meant in the Premier League.Actually, Napoli (almost) did it. City looked like United that night.
It was the application of the tactics not the tactics themselves. We are usually great defensively and let them score from two set pieces. We couldn't string two passes together for most of that game, but yeah, brilliant tactics![]()
Telling of what ?I meant in the Premier League.
You need a striker in form, a mean defence and a midfield which can force mistakes to get the better of them. We haven't seen how they would respond to a defeat in the league, their response for me will be telling.

Someone must surely do some drugs test in this city team. How the feck can they press like that game after game and still look so fresh every match?

There have been what-if moments this season. Bournemouth away one of them.
Liverpool or Arsenal will be their away undoing. You need a side reckless and gung-ho to outdo them. The longer the game was 1-0 with Mane on Liverpool would've fancied their chances.
Unfortunately we will probably have to wait until one of his players to have serious health issues down the line for it to come out in the wash.Someone must surely do some drugs test in this city team. How the feck can they press like that game after game and still look so fresh every match?
What is that white smoke in the stadium. Did anyone started a flare?
Not even a defeat now would change anything, they're unplayable at the moment. Not because they're extra special at football, just their confidence is rocking.I meant in the Premier League.

Anyone else thinking drugs?![]()
Barcelona and PSG would run rings around them. An in form Bayern too.You can't out football them. No team is equipped to do so.

The execution was obviously bad, but sitting back and playing it forward to your physically strong players is still better than playing directly into their strength and trying to get out of their press with players like Smalling, Matic and Herrera who are simply not equiped to do that.We couldn't string two passes together for most of that game, but yeah, brilliant tactics![]()
Way ahead of youAnyone else thinking drugs?![]()
I'd guess they don't actually run a significant amount more than anyone else. They're just coached to a tee in terms of when and where to press. They do it in concentrated area of the pitch & spend very little time without the ball.Someone must surely do some drugs test in this city team. How the feck can they press like that game after game and still look so fresh every match?
We have one player who would try to do it. The rest just stand there. As you say, you have to share it out in phases. They press in phases. Sometimes Aguero does it. Sometimes De Bruyne does it.
Plus they hold so much possession that they don't need to press constantly.
Fog mate, visibly hard to see in parts of the North West as it's that thick. What is that white smoke in the stadium. Did anyone started a flare?
The same way they've won at OT.For all the "amazing", "out-of-this-world", "extra-terrestrial", football that "no-one can live with" Prp's golden boys are ahead by a solitary goal from a badly marked set piece header.![]()
It's not only about the goals scored, it's about how they're going about their business. They play beautiful football, they've become ruthless at killing off games, even their wing backs create more chances than the wingers from most other sides. It's just a very well oiled machine in full flow. For all the "amazing", "out-of-this-world", "extra-terrestrial", football that "no-one can live with" Prp's golden boys are ahead by a solitary goal from a badly marked set piece header.![]()
Ahh quite dense it is.Fog mate, visibly hard to see in parts of the North West as it's that thick.
