Premier League Gameweek 19 - Dec 22nd and 23rd

Half way through the season and only match drawn, none lost.. boy this is some run. Did Bayern or Barca under Pep even match something like this?
Bayern had 18-19 consecutive wins at some point.

Honestly you act as if we are in some 10th position and others are performing extremely well. We are second (or third ) in most goals and are second in table. So yes we fans have a right to take a dig at city considering fans like you portray them as the best since sliced bread.

And what is with luck. So anything we do is lucky but if city riDE their luck they are great. You make your own luck and we are 2nd because deserve to be. City are 1st because they deserve to be. It's just that when people say this city is hardly the best PL side ever , fans like you get agitated and start making your flawed reasons of how we fans have no right to complain. Take that self righteous attitude somewhere else.

You can't bloody move in here without offending a city fan or city worshipper.

Dreadful penalty by Ayew. Could have put West Ham level almost immediately.

FWIW I don't even rate this city side that highly - just find it very bitter and laughable when our own fans think we have the right to criticise a side like City for grinding out the occasional game. In many games we have been second best but somehow got the result, even some of those 4-0's we were at times being dominated in some of those games. In contrast, City might not be at the races in some games but you'd be hard pressed to say they're not usually the better or more dominant side in 95% of games they feature in.

Nobody did that, you made it up.

The camera angle before the 2-0 perfectly showed Bmouth's 5-4-1 formation. Still, they leave City so much room, it's mind-boggling.

They aren't used to sitting in. They decided to play open against Pool last week as it is their game but got panned. I assume they have tried another tactic this week and failed.

West Ham corner. 10 seconds later - 3-1 Newcastle. Lovely.

City are in cruise control. Up 2-0 and only exerting about 50% intensity.

Typical Moyes. Crows about how he has the ability to manage anywhere then sees his team lose at home to a less then mediocre side.

Back to earth for Moysie..

Three players swarming Aguero going forward, but still take a foul and card to stop him
Donkeys.

But no one said it is wrong to grind out results. If anything I specifically praised pep for his pragmatism. I don't why you have to bring our results when someone is scrutinizing city and pep. People have a right to say they don't enjoy city. You are no one to tell people they have no right to say that.

And it's quite funny to call our fans bitter considering the amount of love this forum has given pep and his city. Imagine Manchester city getting love in a red forum and yet fans here say city have been great. So calling us bitter just doesn't make sense. What else do you want us to. Maybe rename the forum blue cafe and calling names at Jose. Maybe then you will be happy.

I swear there's a similar back and forth in every second thread. Like there's heavy handed city police patrolling each thread

I really can't stand the off side rule change they did, once a player realizes they're offside they can just start walking slowly and everything theyve done before will be ignored.

The pass by Aguero was a bit off, and it was anyone's guess whether KdB was gonna go for it or not. Surely that influences the goalkeeper's decision making?

Not only the goalkeeper, the entire defence was stood with their arm in the air watching Sterling slot it in.

And still people complain about referees/linesmen these days. Back in the day, if you were offside at any point, you were offside.

Watford has been in rubbish form in the last 6-7 matches.

Bournesmouth are better than their place in the table, hope they don't go back down. Howe really has them playing hard but would be nice to see them a bit more dynamic going forward

City are playing in third gear and are still wiping the floor with teams.

It's a big embarrassing right now

The rule is fine, players just need to learn to play to the whistle - it's that simple. We learned that when I played as a kid, so it's incredible that adult professionals can't seem to understand the concept.

Yeh, I'm sure if you were out there you'd never do that, because we know that professional footballers didnt get the stellar training that you got
