Premier League Gameweek 2 fixtures (18th - 20th August 2018)

Oliver is such a bad referee and always against us in very game he reffed us.
He's not a bad ref, and he's not always against us. Saying stuff like that makes you sound small time.

He had a shocker against us once in City's favour, and he's given 3 50/50 calls to Liverpool tonight over Palace.

Lets call it what it is.

Palace were gonna lose 1 nil anyway. So their fans shouldnt be gutted that they threw everybody up and got caught.

Thought Mane lost it there at the end.

Ugly win for Liverpool. Guess they are not gonna complain for once though. You need this kind of performances to win the league.

I'm still not particularly convinced by Liverpool but they look a well drilled unit in attack. That much is certain.

They’re a bunch of horrible pricks, managed by a complete prat. But their attack and defence is considerably better than ours.

And arguably every other team in the league, bar City.

This is true. The good thing is Klopp is a nearly man though, so I don't expect them to win trophies, even if they do end up clearly 2nd.

Apparently United are set up to counter attack...or something.

So people keep saying (to justify our shite tactics).
Why everything must end with us? Yes we are shit. Ok? We are talking now about super flying free flowing direct attacking favourite no1 liverpool. Palace had decent amount of chances today. Liverpool's chances were all after counters. They are good but no way that they are better than city

That'll probably be one of Pool's sternest away tests for them. Kudos to them. That was everything they had to do.

TBF, I remember when we were linked with him, and a shit load of people on here posted how he would not be a good signing.
Yeah. I think he surpassed most people's expectations.
Mané is Mirallas-level, will do good for a club that usually ends up between 6th-10th but not good enough for top 4.

Between them and city for the league this season.

People on here are horrible at judging players.

Poor performance in attack but we had chances at least.
Good win at a tough ground with a very good side.

Yep, Liverpool must be laughing their tits off all the way to the bank. He is horrific.

He cost almost triple what Zaha cost them. Let that sink in.

In fairness, I think at the time it was a decent buy. A proven premier league goalscorer, who could hold it up and suited their playstyle? He also didnt do badly first season, got 15 league goals. It's just since then he's turned in to a horrible player, fecking 3 league goals last season FFS. Looks a shadow of his Villa self.

People forget how City should've been beaten at Selhurst park last season before we were the first to beat them. Monday night in their first home game, this is one of our hardest and most dreading fixtures away from home out of the way. Palace aren't some pushover.

Well that was really frustrating and disappointing, indeed the dippers didn't play particularly well but these were the type of matches they would typically loose in other seasons. They have certainly improved in defence and are always gonna have an element of danger in attack as well. It's frustrating Palace couldn't get something from this match though given the circumstances and the referees pathetic decision making. Honestly is there many worse referees than Michael Oliver that officiate the Premier League?
