Premier League Gameweek 28 (24th February - 1st March 2018) | Arsenal vs Man City live at 19:45 GMT

Palace's record without Zaha.

Played:10
Lost: 10
Scored: 1

I was just thinking before they scored how Spurs dropping points would make this the perfect weekend for Liverpool.
It would have been, but every time we win they seem to follow it up with one too. Feels like we can never get a gap on them and not have to worry, our draw against them feels all more frustrating now.

Bunch of scabby bastards today, Kane missed 2 sitters, Aurier was absolutely pathetic, rest of the team bar Eriksen was poor. Palace weren't even solid at the back or anything, they were competely there for the taking but for 80 mins we just hadn't turned up, fecking massive 3 points in the end.

We've allowed that to happen. No fault but our own unfortunately. 2nd place should have been nailed on ages ago.
Absolutely. We could have nailed second ifvMourinho hadnt shackled our attack and stifled our crearltive players. We are far too reactive and only have our own cowardly tactics and formations to blame.
Must win now versus Chelsea. Please José dont play for the 0-0 draw.
Stop being a coward. Unleash our potential.

Yeah both Liverpool and Spurs have kept up your form taking advantage of Utd dropping silly points.

Btw - is it as freaking cold in Manchester as it is in Germany right now?

Really should be pulling for united this week and City next Sunday which could put Chelsea 7 pts back of us. But it’s united. I suppose any result will do.

First Chelsea corner was so early that I suspected the kick-off had been moved to the corner spot by Mou's request in order to sit extra-deep from the start.

Good pass by Eden but poor there by De Gea and Pogba from the cross.

I can´t for the love of Conte ever understand how Willian is not an automatic selection every week. He´s probaly their 2nd best attacking player. Also Moses woudl be something else, if he did not have the worst tunnelvision.

But surely that doesn't come into consideration right? The ref has to follow the rules and not the narrative.

He should but I think the ref was just like I'll show the cnut, would of been funny if he showed him a straight red. He could have booked him and then the Spanish FA could have done him afterwards, I think I remember Beckham getting in trouble for you guys for deliberately getting booked (or maybe England), also didn't Real deliberately get couple of players sent off in the CL (not sure what happened but I think they still got in trouble)

Deserved win for Spurs. Palace were lucky it was only 1 - 0, especially since Spurs should have had at least one pen.

As time ticked on it got nervy, of course, but Kane delivered in the end, as he so often does.

Stonewall pen for Palace. And I'll wait for the FA to come back to ban Alli for his 2 dives...but maybe I won't hold my breath.

The question often gets asked "Where would Man Utd be without David de Gea....?", well my question is "Where would Tottenham be without Harry Kane?".

Lukaku has been excellent in dangerous positions today. When he's involved he's been excellent. Lovely cross, great run by Lingard.

Chelsea on the brink of their season going south

Exactly, its like asking where would City be without KDB, Liverpool without Salah and so on. Fact is he's your player and where you'd be without him doesn't matter a shite as its where you are with him that counts.

I wonder whether @B20 will make a thread about where Spurs would be without Kane and how he is Pochettino's get out of jail card. :wenger:
I won't because that was never my point about de Gea.

The analogy would be "Tottenham commit so many numbers going forwards to the detriment of their defence yet the only goals they score are kane solo efforts so why is pocchetino getting praise for his attacking tactics?"

Thats not happening though.
