Premier League Gameweek 29 (3rd - 5th March 2018)

He can waiver until mid early 30s.

Yes, but it's very socially frowned upon and would basically ruin his public image back home (and may not be possible anymore - Korea is cracking down hard on exemptions). A sporting waiver for accomplishment would be much better, but that is unlikely to happen.

This would be a non-issue if Leverkusen had released him for the 2012 Olympics, but they refused to do so.

It's sad to see that many of our ex players are in these teams that are equivalent to sinking ships.

Rooney and Schneiderlin at Everton
Mikhitaryan at Arsenal
Schweinsteiger at Chicago Fire

Feel sorry for them, especially Mikhi. He is a nice guy sad that things didn't work out for him here.
And just as I was googling to see how Schweinsteiger is doing at Chicago Fire ,this came up :

'Can Chicago Fire win the World Cup, Bastian?'
Former Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is left confused after being asked by a reporter if his new club Chicago Fire can win the World Cup.

Kane is too good for Spurs, and he should realize it himself soon.

No offense to spurs, but he should be with one of the giants.

Son with another goal. His effectiveness is unbelievable.
Martial's potential would be higher, but I wish Martial was as effective as Son on final third. Son already on 15 goals and 9 assists this season.

Eat your heart out KDB that Kane assist was phenomenal!

Martials potential being higher is highly debatable. When is he gonna show it?

Martial hasn't been a slouch this season - 11 goals and 11 assists. And I'd wager he's played less minutes than Son.

Like who?

Just curious........

For stature in the football world, Real Madrid, Barcelona, United.

For actual performance the last few years, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He is the sort of guy that should end his career with multiple CL's and league medals, that won't happen at Spurs.

Just imagine Kane and Lukaku in the same team. One will cross and the other will score !

It's strange that people downplay Son's "potential" - he's very fast, 2 footed and an excellent finisher with a huge work rate.

For the modern era of high pressing and less focus on crossing from the wide areas, he's a fantastic talent.

Martial's on 11 and 10 in 700 fewer minutes.

Martial: 180mins/goal, 94mins/goal or assist
Son: 171mins/goal, 107mins/goal or assist (for Son's mins I've included approx 60 mins of today's game as well as the two goals)

I've been a fan of Son's for many years (go South Korea!) but I don't see how anyone could argue he's more talented than Martial. He's an incredible talent, whereas Son is a good one. I'd love for Son to go on and become even better as it'd only be good for S.Korea, though.

I suspected that was the case. Martial has been lethal this season when he's been involved.

Right....okay.

That's the problem though, you guys talk about us like we're going nowhere.

Football's about now not history. As for multiple CL medals very few players outside of Madrid and Barca have "Multiple" CL medals.

Slick Carvalhal working on that perhaps decisive goal average. He just jumped West Ham on the table because of the last goal.
