Premier League Gameweek 29 (3rd - 5th March 2018)

I think Can is a yellow away from being suspended for the Old Trafford game. Lallana or Milner would replace him I’m guessing.

I think Can is on 8 yellows.

Right....okay.

That's the problem though, you guys talk about us like we're going nowhere.

Football's about now not history. As for multiple CL medals very few players outside of Madrid and Barca have "Multiple" CL medals.

You noticed I wrote stature right? Outside of the Spanish two the only club with a real gigantic stature is United, I know you Spurs guys have a strong dislike towards United, but that is how it is.

And about you going nowhere, no you are going in the right direction, but you won't compete with the superclubs or the oil-doped clubs anytime soon. To reach the echelon of top clubs you would have to win a lot of league medals and CL's, that won't be easy considering the competition. Just look at City and PSG now, two clubs with a lesser standing than Spurs, but who do you think are the most likely to win a CL? You simply won't be able to compete with organic growth against the oil-funded clubs, United with their resources are themselves struggling, and United is a commercial behemoth compared to Spurs.

And yes, few players outside of those two clubs have won multiple CL medals, that is sort of why I mentioned them.

Just out of curiosity what is the definition of 'now' Is it the last 6 months, last season, three seasons, five seasons.
Is this a philosophical question?

There is general agreement among philosophers that time is continuous (i.e. we do not experience it as stopping and starting, or darting about at random), and that it has an intrinsic direction or order (i.e. we all agree that events progress from past to present to future)

That was an epic epic FK. Best of the year.

It's a relative term I'll agree. Probably season on season up for debate, sure.

I suppose my initial gripe with the original post about Kane need to go to Real (fair) Barca (fair) or United to win multiple Leagues or CL's - last league win was 2013 and last CL was 2008.

Status is all well and good, Liverpool have status, I don't think anyone thinks it's likely Kane would go to them.

Anyway I'm out.

Swansea 4 West Ham 1

Moyseh workin his magic again

Why do you think Spurs fans hate United? Don't get that one.

Swansea just jumped 5 places with that win. I hope the relegation battle goes to the wire.

Every Spurs fan I've encountered, either on here on in real life seems to get their tits in a twist over United.

I've often wondered about it myself, surely you should dislike Arsenal and Chelsea more than us?

Look at Glaston for an example, he goes batshit crazy every time discussing United, having us down for bankruptcy and going into oblivion.

So, is it too much to expect Rafa to put a fight at Anfield? Even a draw would be great.
