Premier League Gameweek 29

And what is this 3 at the back nonsense Poch is dealing with, I'm pretty sure their suited formation is a 4231?

Surely we want Spurs to win.. This is one of very few remaining "tough" games for both sides..

Why would you guys want to be behind both teams with both having an easier run on paper going forward.. Its time to start leaving teams behind.

Sort it out Spurs. Arsenal are shit and there for the taking.. Step it up.

I think a draw would be the best result for us. I believe we can snatch third

Spurs dropping points means there are two CL places to go for.

It's much better for us if Spurs don't win

It's abysmal. We're unrecognisable at the moment, our go to move is to shift it out to the flanks and get Trippier/Rose to whip a ball in but if that doesn't work we're utterly clueless.

Lloris, Trippier, Toby, Vert, Rose, Sissoko, Eriksen, Lamela, Son, Kane, Lucas in a 4-2-3-1, forget the back five.

It might be unbalanced but at least we'd be having a go.
Yeah that's the change I'm expecting in the 2nd half. It was so bad watching the three centre backs pass it around nonchalantly and then get pocket picked on the halfway line. Utterly pointless.

A draw is probably the best. It's better to be chasing one of two spots than chasing a single spot. Every game in this league is potentially tough.

This is something which has been happening nearly every time we go with the back five, but it worked against Dortmund and now seemingly Pochettino has faith in it again.

Even in the Dortmund game the first half was dire and mostly just the back 3 exchanging pointless passes, with Foyth being caught out a couple of times because of it.

Utd Chelsea arsenal and Spurs are all prone to dropping points in games they should be winning.

Can take nothing for granted

Spurs had a glorious chance to hurt both our top 4 rivals, pull us up the table, and stay in the title race themselves.

They chose, instead, to jump into the mud pit with the other London clubs and United. No doubt they'll roll over for Liverpool and get a result against City now.

Bottlers.

Guendozi off for Torreria.

If spurs had beaten Burnley and Chelsea then Spurs winning today would have been ideal.

But they're right back in the top 4 battle if they lose this

You have to hand it to Spurs they love a challenge. Since they can’t challenge for the title then challenging for 4th place is the next best thing. Lovely stuff.

Then again, the reason Poch is turning to a back five time and time again is because we have no actual decent central midfielders, because our shite board decided even with Moussa going we didn't need anybody.

Total shitshow.

After seeing the fixtures remaining , I wouldnt want to be behind Spurs and Arsenal ... with their games going forward being substantially easier (on paper).

If Arsenal lose this and hopefully we win our next two games, beating Arsenal next weekend, it should be between us and Chelsea for 4th.

I'd be more comfortable going 2 teams for 1 spot instead of 4 teams for 2 spots..

Doesnt matter.. its not in our hands.

I think this is exactly why he is doing it - Dier injured, Winks injured, Dembele sold, Wanyama is finished at the top level, Skipp is a young kid who might come good but not ready yet - Eriksen can play there but he is horribly out of form. Not exactly fantastic options right now.

It is. If we win all our games we finish top 4 regardless of anyone else.

Would prefer an Arsenal win as we have got to play them so that is in our own hands and Spurs are always a good bet to blow it when the pressure is on .

Trippier:lol:

Even Eriksson looks like he's gone to shit.

We don't want an Arsenal win. If we lost to them next week we would be at least 5 points behind with a harder fixture list and worse goal difference.

He has looked like that for a few months unfortunately.

That's a big problem no? That's either a reflection of him wanting to leave or contract talks affecting him. Neither is a good situation.
