The transformation of Joelinton is quite something
St Max plays this way once every 4 to 5 games, if that. A similar thought experiment was tried by Barcelona and Adama who played well for about 2 games and ended up playing just over 400 minutes in total for them.St Max feels like a player you can use in any team and system whereas Sancho feels like a player who needs to be put in specific context in order to shine
Oh that little beard thing KDB has going on looks awful.
Way too muchI wonder how much Tim Howard gets paid by NBC?
Cheers!21. He's been way more involved in the game this week. If Foden rolls the ball to him, it's 0-2, and they're cruising.
It's great to see because scoring is the hardest thing to do on football. Bigger forwards with good touches and decent link up play should be tried deeper tbh.The transformation of Joelinton is quite something
Finally. Been waiting for this. Pity he's best coming off the left and we already have the GOAT thereSt Max on the brink of turning into a world class player
Involved is a bit much. He's been very average.Cheers!
Especially knowing they push there full backs right up, so oppositions should just keep there wingers hugging the touch line… especially if you have quick wingers like Newcastle have.Transition into areas they are weak (fullback)
We're going to have this every week aren't we?
City win, and rack up goals, Haaland is brilliant etc etc.
Tight game, oooh it's like having 10 men etc.
Such a kneejerk.
Ah come on bro, Adama Traoré is as 1 dimensional as it gets whereas St Max shows variety and improvement every single season.St Max plays this way once every 4 to 5 games, if that. If he went to City, he'd be pants. If he went to Spurs, Arsenal or us, he'd be really good.I once thought that St Maximin wouldn't be good for a top club. I was wrong.
It`s Arsenals title to lose now.
Surely that's ban worthy? Attack the post, not the posterCalm down Piers Morgan.
They push their fullbacks up AND inside to centre mid. Which is great when you can keep the ball but when you transition, boom.Especially knowing they push there full backs right up, so oppositions should just keep there wingers hugging the touch line… especially if you have quick wingers like Newcastle have.

Reckon they’ll still piss the league.City won't be as good this season without Sterling, Jesus and Fernandinho.
Haaland was more a replacement for Aguero so they really should have held on to Jesus for rotation.
Sterling is going to be a huge miss and Phillips is a huge downgrade on Fernandinho.
This season feels weird already. Looks like its going to be one of those seasons where the least shit team wins the league. Every top 6 team looks poor besides Arsenal.
Absolutely my thoughts! You're right, like Grealish he likes to run at players and he wouldn't be able to do that at City. He'd be a very typical SAF signing I feel, like Nani.

Come on bro, what? Watch him in games that aren’t as high profile as this where he’s naturally prone to losing his concentration levels. His stats have basically stayed the exact same every 3 seasons he’s been at Newcastle — 3-5 goals every season, 4-5 assists every season.Ah come on bro, Adama Traoré is as 1 dimensional as it gets whereas St Max shows variety and improvement every single season.
Even if he didn't have a single assist today, he regularly torments the full backs he faces.
He just needs consistency in terms of production. He's already better than Adama has ever been and ever will be
Wanted to play horseWhat was that from Walker![]()
What a dick he is!What was that from Walker![]()
Yes but Newcastle have be relegation contenders during that time.Come on bro, what? When he’s on form like today? He’s a monster. But he’s about this good for 30-35% of the season. When he’s bad; the completely lack of defensive work in presses, lack of care on the ball etc. really come to light and he dribbles into blind alleyways for 90 minutes.
Only Guardiola’s City had more points than Newcastle from January onward last season. Let’s see how he does over the course of this season — happy to be proven wrong, but I doubt it!Yes but Newcastle have be relegation contenders during that time.
