Premier League Gameweek 33 (7th - 8th April 2018)

What are Everton doing? What are these tactics? They have the players to be playing much better football than this. Big Sam and his 19th century tactics are such a bore fest.

When the opposition have the ball Liverpool really do sit very deep in numbers. They might press up front but the rest our always in solid lines

Credit to Everton - they’ve managed 23 minutes against Liverpool’s reserves at home without getting hammered yet; good for them :)

This feels a bit timid for a Merseyside derby.

it's got potential

more room later on & Michael Oliver usually likes to get involved in a game in the 2nd half

I still laugh at Angry Birds on Everton's sleeves.

Should be quite appropriate when they play City next time. Angry Birds v. Tinder.

They are sitting too deep. It’s too easy for Liverpool.

Some of the passing here has been dreadful.

I know Solanke was bought on the cheap for peanuts, but he has been very underwhelming for Liverpool I feel.

Everton are really a noting team at the moment aren't they. I mean, what the feck are they even trying to do? Christ

Overall quality on show has heen very poor so far, Liverpool really have no squad depth.

This is such a weird game. Everton seem like they're content with just sitting back even though we're playing a second string team.

They are the most disjointed underwhelming team in the league this season. That's got something to do with it I suppose.

I would be embarrassed at this performance if I was an Everton fan. Liverpool don’t have a strong squad out and they are respecting them far too much. I can see why Everton fans want big Sam gone, yet another dinosaur British manager.

Rooney now even struggles to ping the ball when he doesn't have pressure on him

Damn, shame to see him like this at this age (well I guess since 28 really)
Man really should have looked after himself better

I don't often watch Everton but is Rooney always this bad?

Did you watch him at United in his last couple of years? It's the same, with less pace surrounded by worse players. No place to hide.
