At least most people stayed to see off Zab, its pissed me off no end Pellers farewell was in front of no one despite his terrible final season.
Maybe but the broken record will continue. Start brightly, feck up all the way to April and then finish in the same place as before, except this season most likely. An FA cup should not save him as he has gone as far as possible with the club.Absolutely not. The only hope is that we keep on using this formation next season. At least Wenger has finally found something who works properly.
Hope we focus on the Europa League well.Maybe but the broken record will continue. Start brightly, feck up all the way to April and then finish in the same place as before, except this season most likely. An FA cup should not save him as he has gone as far as possible with the club.
They must not let it slip.Got a gut feeling Liverpool are going to blow it.
Nah,West Ham was the banana skin for them.Got a gut feeling Liverpool are going to blow it.
Unlikely but if Arse drew 1-1 and Liverpool lost 2-0, they'd have identical records.
Play-off?!
It goes points total, goal difference, goals scored, playoff on a neutral venue if I'm not mistaken.Head to head results?
Gotta feel for Arsenal they could come 5th on 75 points, only twice in recent seasons would that not have got CL, they came 4th with 79 points in 13/14 (my God thats a high benchmark) and when Liverpool came 4th with 76 in 2006. They will be the first 5th place team on 75 points if they win vs Everton. The previous record is 72 for both Everton and Spurs.
That's Spain I think. Think it'd be a play-off.... not going to happen but would be fun to watch as a neutralHead to head results?

So Arsenal needs to draw and score one goal more than Liverpool does in a defeat by two goals to Boro - then we'd both have 73 points, +31 GD and the same amount of goals scored (we currently have 75, Arsenal 74). It's highly unlikely, not to say pretty impossible to achieve that. But yeah, 1-1 and 0-2 would mean a playoff.C.14: If at the end of the Season either the League Champions or the Clubs to be relegated or the question of qualification for other competitions cannot be determined because 2 or more Clubs are equal on points, goal difference and goals scored, the Clubs concerned shall play off one or more deciding League Matches on neutral grounds, the format, timing and venue of which shall be determined by the Board.

My guess would be because they were made famous by Liverpool's era of dominance in the 70s/80s. I remember when there were feck all ex-United pundits, now you have the Nevilles, Scholes, Rio, Giggs etc.Just out of curiosity: why are there many former Liverpool players as pundits?![]()
