Premier League Gameweek 7

Great win. Really did well to grind that one out.

It'd be embarrassing to sack Guidolin after this. Not his fault Van Der Hoorn is a useless f*cktard.

Swansea are shit. You have to feel sorry for Sigurdsson playing with that shower of shite.

Hope Swansea go down literally the most pointless club in the league.

Not saying it out of anything reactionary but they are seriously forgettable.

Liverpool have had 4 penalties already this season. City have had 6.

What the feck is going on?

That's what happens when you have extremely talented players and set them up in an attacking system that frequently gives them the ball in the opponent's box. We haven't done that for years. We just hoof it in and hope.

How the feck did he miss that? Seeing that fecker all pumped up pisses me off more.

Because against a largely lacklustre Swansea they have been found out and had to be saved by the standard penalty to manage a win.

Press against them and withstand their 15 minute bursts of gung-ho pressing and their midtable worthy midfield and defence will get exposed.
They haven't been found out. They've haven't been very good but still managed to win away from home.

Extremely talented players and Liverpool?

Went from awful to slightly above average.

You know what, I like that win. I actually want a few more of those type of wins. United and Chelsea both did it when they were at the top. Grinding out results is so important.

If we lack consistency, then being able to win when we play bad is vital.

Such an average bleh performance. Normally I'd hate it, but today I love it.

That's how to play this LFC team, miss open goals & gift them a soppy penalty, :(.

Another good win for the scousers, not looking forward to facing them in a few weeks.
We will definitely not miss those kind of chances. Swansea should have easily had a draw out of it. Pool's defense is horrible.

:wenger: It's a conspiracy.

Nah, I think both of these teams play the ball forwards quickly and have a lot of touches in and around the box. It helps that they have technically well rounded players behind the forward. Of course, they also had good luck with some decisions

This wasn't like grinding out a result. The other team missed from 6 yards out twice. That won't happen regularly. The second chance was easier to score than miss.

Guidolin doesn't deserve the sack for this. He set his team up well and on another day could've easily come out with a win. It's not his fault Borja and Van Der Hoorn can't finish easy chances.

Liverpool probably deserved the win overall, but feck me how lucky they are. Gets a penalty out of nothing, then that miss at the end.

Extremely talented players and Liverpool?

In attack, yes. Sturridge, Firminho, Mane and especially Coutinho are all extremely talented. Liverpool's weakness has been their defence and midfield for years; they've almost always had a borderline world class attack for a long time with Fowler, Owen, Torres, Suarez, Andy Carroll...
