Premier League Gameweek 7

I remember nearly everyone saying we'd be top at Christmas because of our easy December fixtures. That turned out well

Funnily enough. It was Bastian getting crocked that sent us spiralling down the table (coupled with other injuries).

The winner at watford put us top of the league if i remember correctly.

So City have conceded 5 goals in their last two fixtures. Not particularly inspiring for the league leaders.

Delighted city lost. Awaiting the bitter biased excuses.

First good side in form they face...they lose.. pep will be proven that bayern and barca made him look better than he is.

Spurs have yet to conceded a goal from open play in the league this season.

Barkley free kick v Everton (ended 1-1), Milner penalty v Liverpool (ended 1-1), Gibson header from a free kick v Middlesbrough (ended 2-1 to Spurs).

Pretty impressive stuff. Just 3 goals conceded in 7 games.

Quite a few posters look silly for saying Spurs would fade away this season.

What a week if they see this through.
I honestly believed Spurs would be fighting for top 4 this season, bought into the Mourinho hype too much it seems. Although City have been very poor, Spurs have been very good today even missing some key players.

Good and all as Spurs have been we've had at least 6-7 shots inside the box. Poor enough by Aguero though. Spurs CB's are rock solid.

Been saying it all along. Best defence in the league now. Last season was no fluke.

Hope Jose takes note of the Spurs performance today and the Celtic performance last week. You can have great individuals but win nothing! Get 11 bodies to perform as a team (like we started to in the first half of the Leicester game) and the sky's the limit!

I was laughed at for suggesting that the spurs team is as good as United. Turns out, they look better.

Should have put a few bucks on City losing today, was bound to happen after Sky jinxing them with that ad of the kid saying "think we can do the Arsenal invincibles".

We are almost there. Just need to get rid of a few more slow low workrate players.

This can demoralise City. First a draw at Celtic and now a loss at Spurs. Hopefullyit has a similar effect to how that 3 game run of losses affected us.

Spurs were impressive, they battered City whole game, City were on a back foot constantly. A mini crisis perhaps?

Saying all that, don't be so bloody negative people. It's not as if we look so lousy that we won't be in the mix. For the top 4 at least. :)

I've said since day one that if you get in and amongst this city side they'll struggle like the Arsenal team of old do. Teams will take note how this spurs side hassled them and got the win.

Doubt City are as lacking in confidence as we are...

As a team, Tottenham is ahead, no argument. We're still shaping ourself a new team.

Potential wise, we are better with the mixed of winner experience and talented young players. So too soon to draw conclusion until we can click all the part into a team. We show we are moving that way with many more chances created compare to last season. Still a lot thing to do, but there the positive.

The fecker got lucky with international break

Who would you say comes into your description. Be interested to know because it seems to me, for all the criticism of the likes of Lingard (Match Day Thread mostly so can be discounted), the youngsters are showing the way to the expensive purchases?

Who'd of thought it, putting City under pressure, not giving them time to think, reaps rewards.
Right, we now know what to do when we rock up to the Emptyhad

Honestly think that Celtic have shown the way when it comes to Pep and City
