Our defence was good in the second half of last season too. We look solid at the back no question, it's everything else I'm worried about.

His last goal was about 620 minutes ago. Not that I hate him at all, we just need someone better.
Blind has done well for the opening two games so we'll have to see with him. The other three are very good though.

He's a weird one, Giroud. His one touch finishes are up there with the best strikers I've seen at times, it's just the rest of his game that can be very lacking.

In fairness, only two teams have that sort of striker. I'd have him as third best in the league. Can't think of anyone better bar Aguero and Costa, can't help but feel like I'm forgetting someone though.

I don't think his game is lacking, he has very good build up play imo. I just think he's not that good of a finisher. He'll score a goal like the one a minute ago one week, and the next he'll miss from 6 yards out.

Yes and no. You could make a case for Dzeko, Benteke, Rooney being better than Giroud. Besides that I think that an offensive team like Arsenal rely even more on a top striker than teams like Chelsea or United, because Arsenal are almost never playing for the draw.
