Probably deserved win for Arsenal just for their first half but the Ref has had a shocker.

Why are players with yellows being given warnings?
To play devil's advocate, why are players getting away with number of offences before the first yellow, yet usually there seems to be an accepted norm that the second yellow only needs one more foul? The argument could be made that they're 'out of warnings' but sometimes I get the impression the ref ignores the rules as to whether the last offence is a yellow and bases it on the fact they were already on a yellow.

Zaha is terrible! Not strongh enough, always loses the ball and one the very rare occasion he beats his man he always picks the wrong option!!

Don't Know what Ferguson ever saw in Zaha tbh

Omg!!!!!! Palace got a call for once

Deserved? They are very lucky

First half all they did was miss lots of chances

Persistent fouling is one of those things that warrant a yellow card so it's understandable that they only get booked after a few fouls. Unless the fouls themselves are worthy of yellow cards in themselves anyway but that's a different issue.

Man City XI vs. Chelsea: Hart; Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov; Yaya Toure, Fernandinho; Navas, Silva, Sterling, Aguero. #MCFC

Chelsea XI vs. Man City: Begovic; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa. #CFC

Absolutely. The oddity, IMO, is more when they get a yellow for persistent fouling and then get another yellow for a foul similar to earlier fouls, which didn't, on its own, amount to a yellow.

Zaha is actually a useless player even in the Palace setup. A half decent defender could make Zaha look totally silly.

Cabaye looks pretty good. Could have been a good signing for Spurs or Pool.

Edit: actually surprised Stoke didn't go for him.

If take a draw from that city game.

Would keep them both below us which would be nice

I hope Chelsea v City has to be abandoned due to too many red cards and goes down as both teams losing.
