Luckily there’s City vs Spurs, no help coming from the other fixtures of top 5.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool will be brutal, i can see some heavy spanking this weekend for Hull, Swansea and Burnley

I feel like we need to win by 4 or 5 goals tomorrow. We've been stuttering along for a while now, but with Coutinho back alongside Firmino and Lallana I think we should be aiming for a big win.

Clyne could be back as well as Henderson. Still no word on Matip although that gets dealt with by FIFA today.

Leave it to Swansea to give Liverpool their attacking confidence back. Nothing club.

Likely wins for 4 of the top 6.

Need city to thump spurs this weekend. Much rather have 4 big clubs for England in the CL next season than small clubs like spurs and Leicester fecking it up again.

They're a nothing club because they will lose to Liverpool?

What about when they rolled over for us a few months ago?

I hate this total disregard for the smaller clubs around here at times.

Try telling Swanseas thousands of fans that pay good money to see them every week that they support a 'nothing club'.

Nothing team is more appropriate.

Leicester are hardly fcking it up in the CL this season.

I'm not even remotely looking forward to watching us against Spurs. Oh god please help us.

Strangely enough, if one team has to win tomorrow I would rather want it to be City. They will keep dropping points anyway by the looks of it, especially with Guardiola having behind the scenes row with Aguero (and likely with KdB as well). Draw would be the best outcome tho...

They deserve no defense though given what their management did last season in May. I feel sorry for their fans but the club is a shambles since they sold out.

They're absolutely a nothing club this season. Fecking useless team and they won't do anything out of the ordinary except being extraordinarily shite. Their highlight of the season will be drawing 2-2 at home to Chelsea. Stating facts there and I don't really care what their fans think about it.

Jeez,

Looks like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea got really easy home games, would be surprised if they don't win comfortably. United could drop points, but will most likely win.

Spurs v City could go either way, but I think Spurs got this.

Just win our game and relax for the rest of the weekend. If we do that, we'll either be alone in second place again, or have a bit more distance between us and fifth place - both scenarios are fine with me.

And I agree with you. Doesn't make them a 'nothing club' though.

Being shite doesn't make you a 'nothing club'. It's arrogant hogwash supporters of big clubs come out with every weekend because a rival wins against them.

Same goes for Aston Villa. Some of the comments I read about them last season. They're a grand old club but fans of the likes of United and Liverpool feel they are better than them. We're not. If anything, I have huge respect for the likes of Villa and Swansea fans. Imagine some of the people who post here watching Utd in a relegation fight - they'd probably end up in a mental institution.

We need a season or two in the Championship. I reckon the boards would be quite entertaining!

Would love to go into the second place this weekend, but Liverpool are gonna thrash Swansea. And i can see City-Tottenham not being as easy as you would think.

I think City will beat Spurs. Wounded animal that simply has to win.

I do wonder how Pep would deal with another thumping tomorrow though?

Brilliant post!

Fans of unsuccessful clubs are the lifeblood of football.

As far as the bold bit is concerned some of them (not specifically Utd) would simply support somebody else, I know this for a fact because I've witnessed it first hand.

So have I actually.

Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and more recently City have some utter spoilt bellends supporting us it has to be said.

Just take a quick look at our matchday threads for evidence of this!

Hard to accept two heavy defeats in a row for him.

He's been in professional sport all his adult life, he knows it has ups and downs. The only reason he would contemplate going is if he thinks he genuinely can't fix it and drive them to the top. Personally I think it's way too early for such assumptions.
