Premier League Matchweek 25 (Feb 11-13)

Bournemouth need to use Fraser more. He reminds me of Shaqiri so much.
Also Niall Quinn, how does he keep getting games esp City games?

We've been really, really poor today. Ibe should and could have scored, lucky deflection on the goal too. One the opposite foot, Sterling was very unlucky with the first chance.

We've only really given up one chance and Willy did well with it, he's so much more reliable than Bravo and in these few games much better with his feet too and knows when and when not to play out from the back.
We really need to score a 2nd early in the 2nd half or this will be a nervy, nervy last twenty minutes. Still if we win tonight, we'll be second in the table, second to Everton in the premierleague form table and a far cry from the crisis the media said we were in post Liverpool.

City will score again, but i think bournemouth will score too. Id just run at Stones and target him, hes bang average

So is Eddie Howe a half season wonder then? The same future England manager/Wenger replacement Eddie Howe?

He's unlucky to be one down with B'mouth against the squad many believe is the best in the premier league. Strange time for that criticism, that said he doesn't seem to know how to set up a defence in general and leak far too many goals.

Bournemouth are pure garbage.

Obviously when they show up at Old Trafford they'll have an inspired day though.

If he doesn't figure out how to defend it will eventually get them relegated.

That's the reason why Arsenal want him ;)

There was a time he was virtually impossible to dispossess playing it out of defense
Yep, I remember those times very well. Still had this image of him in my mind. But as you were saying, age catches up to everyone.

Aguero looks so strange running, as if he is close to being physically shot. I haven't watched him that much, but has he lost a lot of pace? He looks awkward moving around the pitch.

I wonder how many oals would Aguero be scoring playing next to top players who would demand him to pass the ball more? Someone like Ronaldo for example, or Messi.

This game highlights why Gabriel benches Aguero. He doesn't cut off passing lanes, constantly attempting duels against multiple players, take shots when he could have played teammates in better positions, arrives too late when the team brings the ball around the box, can't lay off properly for his teammates ...so many errors. I said this before, he is a box striker and this is why Lewandowski and Suarez are better footballers.

Guy in charge of muting the mics having his job cut out for him tonight.

We're getting a man sent off before this is over for certain.
