Premier League Matchweek 25 (Feb 11-13)

Chelsea will have to really dig in if they want the 3 points.

Something special from Hazard might save them.

Burnley are very good at home. Nowhere near this level away, I think they only have 1 point away - at OT.

Just score worldies against us? ;)

We were all over them until the goal.

True, but ever since Burnley conceded there's been no fluency to your play. They're winning the 50-50s despite having Joey fecking Barton in midfield

I think having that third CB is hindering you somewhat. For some reason it's making it a much more open game.

Burnley are having a great game. I'm not too worried just yet though. We tend to let people come onto us and it can look more dangerous than it is. Then again having said that Burnley should be 2-1 up.

That was a entertaining half, Burnely did well but can be disappointed not having scored more.

This season everything's fine because there is a positive mentality, other top teams are a bit of a mess, and stars seem to align. But it won't work all the time.

Nah he's got a point. Spurs have bottled it again.

We're 90 minutes away from another trophy and two points behind Spurs after our horrendous run of results. We're 16 unbeaten and have better players and manager than Spurs.

We. Are. Crowing.

You are effectively 3 points behind Spurs, despite having had an easier fixture list ... so much for "better players and better manager".

If you wish to crow about remaining stuck in 6th place, then be my guest.

Jesus christ.. Luiz is clearly struggling with his injury, we have plenty of cover he should be resting.

Nobody gives a feck about money spent apart from small clubs who can't spend it.

Keep repeating this often enough and you might convince yourself to ignore the embarrassment of having spend hundreds of millions net, only to end up with a squad still sitting in midtable.

I see Conte has fully embraced the chav style. A Strongbow or K cider and a fag in his hand and he'll have it nailed on.

So?

You should be the one worried. You will be the one sitting mid table soon.

I'd argue he's already there:

The easier fixtures raises its ugly head once again..
Off form Southampton just won 4-0 v a side you couldn't create one chance against.
Spurs have an out of form attack, your upcoming fixtures would have looked easier for you at Xmas than they do now. That's why you cant look weeks or months in advance.
Stop this

It's foolish to pretend that United don't have a much more difficult set of remaining fixtures compared to Spurs. Of course that doesn't guarantee anything in terms of results, but it doesn't change the fact of the remaining comparative fixture lists.

Midtable, 2 points behind your own team. Your wumming makes you look incredibly daft at times.

Abramovitch should just hire some semi-decent singer\songwriter to make up a few songs for their fans, their lack of imagination is amazing.

Come on Glaston.

United for all their troubles are 2 points behind title chasing Spurs.

We're not in the title race - it's a one horse contest.

As for United, I still have you down for a 5th place finish.

Besides that freak result at old Trafford where we three away chance after chance, Burnley haven't got a single point away from home. It's always been said that you can't stay up on home form - except this year (probably)

What is it that makes teams perform so well at home, but crumble away every single game?
