Premier League Week 25 - 6th-7th Febuary

The 1 - 0 win for Spurs doesn't reflect our almost complete dominance of the game.

Alli's pass-cum-cross for Trippier's goal was superb.

Up into 2nd place. 13 games to go, so we still have plenty of chances to catch Leicester.
You still have hard games to come though: Utd,Liverpool,Arsenal,City,West Ham. Leicester, apart from us at OT, will finish their games against the top 4 quite soon. I think they have to go to Arsenal and OK they may lose but you could lose all the aforementioned games. I don't see them losing against the mid table fodder.

If we don't beat Chelsea tomorrow, we might as well kiss the top 4 goodbye and try winning the EL. There is no way Leicester and spurs are falling out of Top 4.
Ah but Arsenal? There would be a hilarious story after all the pundits saying they have such a great chance

I know Klopp needs time to build his own team but he drops so many points he may come under pressure. Liverpool are literally a midtable side. Miles off the top teams in England, who are miles off the top teams in Europe. To think it wasn't that long ago they were beating Real Madrid 5-0. Klopp has work to do.

But this season was a write off for them anyway. When Klopp took over, it was so that he can plan for the future seasons. No one expected him to get into Top 4.

Were you not on the Cafe when he took over?

I fully support their protest, but that is funny how they all feck off and team throw the game away.

You'll never walk alone eh?

It´s true though. Fans walked out 77th minute. Team followed them.

Every season is a write off for them ;)

Not really. They sacked Rodgers because they felt that top 4 should be attainable this season and Klopp could do that for them.

I dont know. The way the season is going we may end up with a top 4 of Leicester, spurs, West ham and Villa. :p
feck that! I'll never step out of the house again if that happens! They're satisfied with better football. They have no ambition!

There' not getting top 4 and then there is looking dodgy for top 8.

A sense of Deja Vu next week. With Spurs heading to Man City confident of top 4 and looking for the title. This time they may get their result that spurs them on, rather than the start of their crumble.

Bad day for United. Spurs won, Leicester won... it means that United win tomorrow will be almost "useless", should they win, in order to close the gap.

No one should now doubt Leicester's credential for the title. Will be really happy for them if they win it since we have no chance at it. Incredible how they have turned it around within 12 months without spending a lot of money.

I still believe that the top four is in our hands. I'm not sure if we will get it, but if we won it will be because we lose games. There's no way the other teams wont drop points.

Who do you see falling out of it? I can't see Leicester falling away after today and City should be up there. Top four is what Arsenal do so that leaves Spurs who went eight clear of fifth today. It's pretty hard to see any of the current top four changing.

I still believe that the top four is in our hands. ....

Clearly it isn't ... not when you're left relying on the four clubs above you to drop more points than you do.

It Isn't mathematically but a five point gap when you have 13 games left and have to play every side above you still is no cause for panic stations.

We really need to win tomorrow though. I hope we don't show Chelsea too much respect.

It is possible to equal points with them if we beat both Spurs and Arsenal. Spurs and Arsenal play each other too you know.

Outscore Arsenal and it is still in our hands. Glaston don't know how the league works...

Nothing absurd has to happen for the teams above us to drop points. We just have to win our own games.

Arsenal are 5 points ahead of us and I feel like they will definitely lose more games. They're playing Leicester next week which could easily cost them 3 points. We'd be just 2 points behind them and there's enough of the season left for that to turn around.

City and Totenham are in the same boat but a few results could very easily change it all. 7-8 points is not that big of a difference.

I still don't think we'll quite get top four but it will be because of us losing stupid games that United shouldn't be losing.

Glaston forgetting that Arsenal still play Spurs...
