Premier League Week 25 - 6th-7th Febuary

65 minutes into the game and nobody's told the Swedish commentator that the Sunderland striker isn't German Defoe. Jesus.

We still play them we need to match them and hopefully they will drop a few points. It's not over and there still Spurs. Obviously we need to beat Chelsea tomorrow or my positive post is mute

Livershite will only be three points behind us if we fail to win and Chelsea nine. Even they could overtake us.

They just look a lot better than us. I think Chelsea tomorrow will be a very hard game.

Hopefully Bournemouth do us a favour tomorrow.

And hopefully we don't waste that favour by losing to Chelsea.
We cannot finish in top 4 ahead of Arsenal. Arsenal going always in UCL, Arsenal passing group from the second place in UCL, Arsenal getting eliminated in the first KO tie in UCL, and the law of entropy are the four fundamental laws in the universe.

With Spurs not doing a Spurs, our best shot might be to get there instead of City. Win tomorrow and we are just 4 points below them.

So Chelsea can overtake us who would be 9 points behind, yet you have no hope of man utd making the top 4?

Shows that we shouldn't get too excited about beating Stoke.

Where did I say there is no hope for top four? We could make 4th or quite as believably would be for both of the said teams to overtake us. It's all up in the air.

The 4 clubs above us are much better at the moment.
I'll reserve my thoughts on that until after tomorrow. Yes we've been wank, but I'm hoping we have finally kicked on now.

Thing is though, Spurs have a lot of very tough matches coming up. Their next five or six are pretty tough, they'll be dropping points.

I'm having a mare today with results:rolleyes: Not one of them going the right way. Hope Southampton puts a stop to that:rolleyes:

It was just the way I read your post tbh.

Spurs will obviously drop points, so will Arsenal. But we don't win enough games to catch them. We will drop just as many.

Fiorentina twice, City away. Palace, Swansea, West Ham away and Arsenal. Not an easy fixture list, that.

As do we, though. We play Chelsea (A), Arsenal (H), City (A) before we have Spurs (A).

Literally nobody leaving. You'd think City fans were protesting from the 1st minute.

Edit: 78th and some leave, stupid scousers can't count. Other scousers boo them.

I can see how given the comment chain I replied to. Nothing will surprise me this season with any eventuality, especially concerning us. One thing we do need is for the goals to continue and they are only coming from two or three sources on a semi regular basis. A dry spell for them (again) and we will be right up against it.
