Premier League Week 25 - 6th-7th Febuary

Arsenal have just scored for the first time in what...5 hours? You are making out like they are the form team and we are shite. If they can overcome previous shiteness, why can't we? I will however agree with your top 4 post if we don't win today. It really is all on today for me. Without a win, I'll agree it's too much, but I'm not defeated (like you) yet!

That's true but the thing is Arsenal at least look good. Forster had a DDG-esque game in midweek and Arsenal created loads of chances. With us though, it's hard to build up any optimism. Hopefully Martial turns up today and we sneak it.

Arse's fixtures after Spurs in March are very straightforward.

Can't see how they are going to drop out of the top four, even if they aren't in title contention. They always get over the line. :(
Not a chance they're dropping out. Can't see us catching anyone to be honest.

I still don't know whether Bournemouth having those massive photos inside the stands is brilliant or embarrassing.

I like them. Wish we had something similar in our lifeless shed of a ground.

This match is exactly how and why they will always finish in the top for under Wenger.

A win today is essential. Spurs Vs City and Arsenal Vs Leicester next week!

All is not over yet. :nervous:

Forget about top four. Stop talking about it. Turn all the powers of your genius for speculation to the Europa instead. That baby guarantees champions league football for the winner.

Who dreamed up these this hideous brown/blue away kit for Arsenal? Their traditional bright yellow looks so much better.

FFS - we need a refs decision to get close to finishing 4th do we? 6 of 1 etc.

No we don't, we aren't good enough to get top four regardless all the referee help etc but in the context of this game the referee has bottled it and Arsenal have taken advantage from it.

Nothing bizarre about it. Top 4 is essential and Leicester were more likely to feck up than Man City in my view. That's changed now
Leicester always had one of the better records against the top six while City's is one of the worst. City still have the CL to play in too. Can't see either dropping out of the top four but for me City would probably be the better bet.

Anyway City play Spurs and Arsenal play Leicester next so a win today and against Sunderland is a must before we play Arsenal at home. Could really close in on the teams above us.

like I said 6 of 1. on another day he goes. but we'd only have a moan if it was 3 or 4 clubs , arse , siddy , cska london and any other club we dislike. we'd moan the other way if it was a bournemouth player sent off "the ref killed the contest". me i look at it as 0-2 and maybe 2-2 in the end. bit of luck for the cherries.

All true but City were dropping out of the top 4. Far too god a side. Leicester don't have that aura and may have bricked it

Yep, they are good at beating smaller teams consistently to ensure they squeeze enough points to get top 4.

Didnt really expect Arsenal to lose today. They only drop points when they are on a roll. When they are under big pressure they get brilliant wins. Like last October they were under huge pressure losing first 2 games in CL and some league games and they had a must win vs Bayern and they went and won it. For them to bottle they need to first remain unbeaten in 10 or something like that like last season when they were on a roll and about to finish second when in the end they screwed up against Sunderland and all to get third. Or this season when they won vs city and then unravelled against Southampton Liverpool Chelsea and all after that

It's not really Arsenal's fault we aren't good enough to get more points than them. It's just shite that once again we're trying to squeak a top four place.

Reminds me of this every time I see it
