Premier League Week 34

Did everyone have money on Chelsea or something? Don't really care that they got a bit of extra stoppage time. We certainly get a bit more from time to time. The result doesn't really effect us. I'd probably be a bit miffed if it was against us, but they are two teams I always want to lose every week, so a draw is a probably a good result. It's mostly outrageous that he scored when he should have been sent off. What a horrid little tosser.

So, hatred for a team means objectivity goes out the window?

Chelsea deserved to win here, Liverpool shouldn't even have finished the game with 11 men.

 Jamie Redknapp just said people have short memories, after reminding everyone about Cantona's karate kick.

 anyone catch Ivanovic doing a cross/pray to keep his cool after he told the ref Suarez bit him?? it was like Ivanovic was in a state of disbelief. Hilarious.

Townsend is spot on - theres no way LFC can stand by him now.

Suarez definitely should have been sent off, but that aside, I don't think Chelsea deserved the win. A draw was fair based on the performance I thought. Terrible substitutions handed the game to Liverpool as well. Taking off your two best players is just mental.

I actually wanted Chelsea to lose at the start of the game, as I'd love for them to finish outside the top 4, again, despite spending silly money. Once Suarez did what he did, I didn't really care what happened. It's just a shame that cheating shitbag scored.

Suarez is such a difficult player to guard. If you give him space he'll score, and if you get close to him, he'll bite you!

Ha! That interviewer was like 'well, Brendan, if you're not going to say anything about Suarez, feck off'.

Typical, fatty doesnt want to upset his liverpool minions so says he never saw the incident

Fat cnut didn't dare criticise Suarez. No wonder the Chelsea fans despise him.

just saw the highlights of city spurs. Bale's goal was very well taken, but the pass for the 1st was absolutely sublime. Dempsey did well holding his position.

There is something you guys can help me with, when they say additional time, it is a minimum no ? So if the ref announces 6 mins, he doesn't have to stop the game at 96:00 right ?

No, it's discretion especially if he views some time wasting.

Rentboys have only themselves to blame TBH, there was a period when all they had to do was control the midfield and keep ball but Obi Mikel was panicking.

Serves them right. Hope they miss out on CL

How sh*t hot was a returning-from-injury Sturridge? Made us tick in the second half with some beautiful footwork. The pass for Gerrard (really should have scored), the well taken run to lose his defender and slot in and the delightful chip cross to the far post. The ex-Chelsea boy showed just how bad the ex-Liverpool masked man was.

Edit, oh yeah and that post.

Yep minimum. He can add on time for timewasting and subs.

I did find it odd that the time he chose to add on ended the instant Liverpool scored.

Of course there's no conspiricy, just a very shitty ref bottling it.

Sturridge looked great. Hope (for England's sake) that he can avoid injury and really do well at Liverpool.

Classic game raising from Sturridge against one of his former clubs.

Yes. It was strange but in the long term that goal in the 97th minute will hurt more Liverpool fans than if they had lose. Now when they will talk about United conspiracy and Fergie time, they can't use our goal against City a few years back argument.
