Premier League weekend fixtures 11/12/13 August

Pretty harsh on Liverpool given it was an offside goal, but it's no less than what Watford deserve.

This is a post on BBC thread:

'Peter White:Lads, this is gonna be some season if this keeps up. Averaging 6.5 goals per game!'

Shall we start a crowdfund page to send Peter back to get his Maths qualifications?
(6+7)/2 = 6.5

This is what worries me going into this season. The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool coming back from behind to win games. Can anyone really see us doing that after last seasons struggle for goals?

I'm confident we will be far more solid at the back than Arsenal and Liverpool so we won't have to come from behind as often but when we do go behind I won't be confident of us scoring 2 or more goal to come back and win a game.

I would love for us to start the season of with some high scoring wins to get the confidence going and build the belief we can score at will and come from behind to win.
I leave that there

Arsenal/Liverpool score more because they have pacey attacking players. Zlatan was great but very slow, hopefully Lukaku fixes that issue. Also the reason why Giroud doesn't start anymore for Arsenal.

they have technically gifted players capable of unlocking defences. most of them are great with the ball on the ground and in tight spaces, have good passing and have great vision, quick movement and often them 1-2's are clutch. i think those things are more important than "pacey".

giroud doesn't start because he lacks most of them attributes and because arsenal's plan a doesn't really cater to/for a target man

Watford deserve it. Our defence is about as effective as a condom that's been shot with a nailgun.

tbf, one of liverpool's goals came from an offside too so it evens out

Sky giving it the '2 games, 13 goals!' shtick.

Of course pretending even 50% of them have been quality.
