I'm interested in how the next few weeks/months is going to go. I'm quite a cynical person but what is important within all of this is for people to make sure that this isn't a short term thing and it's long term change. I'm worried that a lot of people I'm seeing reposting things or saying 'black lives matter' are just doing it because everyone else is i.e they weren't speaking up on any of the issues before but now that it's right at the forefront of the news they are. It's important to make sure that even if this is the first time people are speaking up, it's a first time that is continued and not just a one time easy ' share' of a post. I think sometimes you can tell who is going to be who too. The people that sit and think about what the post is and write about it probably invest and care about the meaning more than someone who just shares one post on the fly. I don't know, maybe I am being super cynical. Let's wait and see.
