QPR vs. Manchester United

I actually think this should be pretty much a banker. We rested key players on Monday, the next game is a week away, we have no injury worries, the lads can go 15 (!) points clear of City, while QPR are bottom for a reason (they've been utter crap so far this season), despite getting points off Chelsea, Spurs & City. I'll be severly disappointed if we don't beat them, as arrogant as it may sound.

I was initially thinking that this would be a tough one due to their results against the top sides recently, and that they seriously need to get some wins on the table.

But you've actually changed my mind. In retrospect, we should actually win this.

We should absolutely stuff them, if we turn up. Sadly, football does not work that way! I still think this will be a very tough match, but we should beat them, yeah.

I've watched their games when they took games off the top teams, and well, fair play to them for doing so (it's helping us too, so no complaints ), but they got incredibly lucky, especially against City and Tottenham at home. No doubt they will give their all and I also wouldn't be surprised to see Cesar having a brilliant day again, but it really shouldn't be enough. We need to be a bit more clinical than the rest of the bunch though. Upfront, QPR are toothless.

They have signed Remy, Samba and Townsend since those games.

Lots of people think QPR will get at least a point here it looks like, their fans seem confident, John Salako was in the Sky studio yesterday going on about how this is the game of the season for QPR and how he won't be surprised with a win for them and Daily Star predicted a home win for this one... Weird that.

Meh their defence isnt all that, they are poor in midfield and our defence are used to containing much better strikers than remy. They wont score more than one and we will, should be a win. Wish it was a 12.45 though!

I read Redknapp plans to partner Remy with Zamora upfront. I bloody hope he does... two strikers + the Taarabt in midfield would open up A LOT of space for our players to operate in. You have a point with Samba who's form has been questionable at best, but he will be an asset for them at setpieces. We probably need Vidic in there to deal with it. Townsend is hardly a player we should be afraid of.

So, what we can expect might be something like this:

Remy
Mackie - Taarabt - Townsend
Derry - Mbia
Traore - Hill - Samba - Onuoha
Cesar

No point in making an understatement here, that back four + Derry is abysmal. I fancy Nani to tear Traore to shreds if he gets a start. Mbia and Derry will just be in there to hack down our players.

Also I forgot to add that theyre getting to the stage where they really need to win games so they cant afford to sit back and try and earn a draw today! Especially with Newcastle v Soton tomo and a big game for Reading today

Step up RVP I really fancy him to bag a few today up against Hill and Samba.

Go at them and we'll win.

Hope to see us start with a front four of Kagawa, Nani, Welbeck and RVP.

With Carrick and Clev behind them.

This is probably QPR's last chance to get some points or they're definitely down, in my opinion. Top vs bottom, away from home against a desperate QPR side who have taken points off 3 of the top 4 so far this season.

I think this is a game where we're dropping points, unfortunately. Probably a draw. QPR to take an early-ish lead before we batter them until we get a late equaliser.

Fergie could do worse than to dig out the footage of how QPR behaved after they'd conceded that 3rd goal to City last year.
That ought to get the lads ramped up.

Their defence is still really susceptible. Against whoever the feck they played last week (Fulham?) there was so much space.

Full strength, only change I can see is Valencia in over Kagawa really. Team that plays Madrid will most likely be the same unless Phil Jones is fit.

We're going to batter them. Not worried at all.

If we get it down and play, we should do them comfortably.

They are an awful team with very little cohesion. That being said, when United come to town it's a cup final and everyone plays out of their skin for one game.

Not confirmed yet though so waiting for that. Giggs has been in brilliant form but in midfield..away? That scares me

Team looks great. Our wings should actually be a threat for once.

If anyone deserves his start its Nani.
