Question Time & This Week

She's doing better than that Conservative guy

Mildly. It's conspicuous how they've managed to put Chuka on a stage with three utterly garbage politicians. Open goal for him on every issue.

A leader that underwhelms? He's already bottled it once.

He's only 37, if he doesn't feel he is ready then that is understandable. But he clearly has shown that he is willing to think about it, and is a very intellectual speaker/thinker.

Intellectual enough to slag off people as 'trash'? He only pulled out cos he wanted someone else to take the hit. Duplicitous prick.

That Welsh oaf in the crowd slagging the Tories over the NHS serms to have somewhat overlooked Labour's record in Wales.

You can tell how many Ukippers are in the audience with the support Trump gets.

Allowing a question with "Remoaners" in it, sort it out Dimbleby.

The Conservative guy is pretty good

He's the one who's comments got leaked a month or two ago where he essentially ripped into all the Tory leadership candidates, and he didn't give a feck about it.

Lol. brexiters are being demonised.
Which group is being depicted as the moaners and traitors in national front pages?
One olitician even suggested not backing brexit, should be a crime.
varoufakis was right in part. Leave voters have no idea of what they want.

If the Remoaners thing carries on I'm going to try and make Brex-pests a thing.

The toxicity and idiocy is just going to continue. It's cognitive dissonance at work.

When Brexit fails it won't be because it was a fecking stupid idea. It will be because of the 'remoaners', because the Germans and the French undermined a post-Brexit deal with the EU, etc.

Migrant children question. This'll end well.

"Lets do A50 now and get out now". Do these people even listen?

I don't think a lot care. They've been told of the EU's evils and are determined to abandon it now. Potential difficulties don't interest them.

 It does make you question the value of democracy
Democracy is good. True democracy is bad.

We elect politicians to make the decisions. We've seen not only with Brexit but also with the Colombian vote to end the civil war how bad things can go.

I'm starting to think there should be some sort of exam in order to vote.

Yep. Representative democracy is good. Democracy run on the strength of referendums, not so much.

Definitely not. If a population is misinformed, it's more of a indictment on the failings successive governments and media establishment.

What government/country has ever got 100% of the people to get involved/care/read about the issues of their country?
