Agreed, just watched the highlights again and he was very bad.

Yes, I'm sure he played in the second half or final 30 minutes.

Whats lulinha upto?
Thought he was meant to be mint??
Lads we can't compare Rafael and Fabio due to one friendly that they played in together.
By all accounts, Fabio is as good as Rafael if not better. They both will be class for us for the next 10-15 years.
Are you serious?Still playing for Corinthians.
His stats appeared to have gotten worse in FIFA08 and FM2009 compared to last years versions! Maybe he won't be as good as first thought.
Saf said in his press conference that fabio is back in full training but wont be played until january. it wouldve been nice to see him get some mins in japan at least. scholes will play alot in japan for fitness and will get 30-35 mins tomorrow.
Fabio is right footed, isn't he?
Anyone familiar with how he normally attacks down the left flank? Can he cross a decent ball with his left foot or does he prefer cutting inside?
Thanks mate!He cuts inside all the time, it's why he scores so many because his shooting for a full back is unreal. He's basically very similar to how Lahm plays as a right footed left back if you are familiar with him. I don't think his crossing with his left is up to much because I've never seen him do it but like Rafael he's absolutely lightening quick and does the Nani think of a quick burst of pace and then cut back to cross with his right.

If you listen to the World Football Phone In podcast from the BBC, then you'd hear Vickery basically give a short description of Fabio and how he can't tell if the player is right footed or left footed as he is so equally good with both.

That's typical Vickery bollocks. Anyone who has watched Fabio play and genuinely can't tell that he is right footed when that's the foot he uses to control, pass and shoot with has pretty severe mental health problems.

I hope he sticks more to his flank because at times he was getting in midfield with his runs and he lost the ball in an important position which lead to a boro player crossing the ball.
I thought he was very good actually.
Was just about to post similar.
Kept cutting inside today... to be fair he does it a lot, as he's eager to get the ball.
Went toWest Ham game and he was all over the field trying to win the ball
Made a cracking ball to Rooney today on the edge of the box.
He was fine, quiet going forward and decent enough in defence. Boro were targeting their goal kicks and clearances at him and he won pretty much every header which I thought was very promising, also tracked Tuncay very well for the headed chance he had
