Agree, it's disingenuous for the "fan" to claim he was only trying to have a chat and support the team. Bull, fecking, shit. We support the club. The players like Rashford support the club *and* it's their job. He had to have been gutted they'd been knocked out by a pretty poor side, he has to know his form is off, and some "fan" thinks that staying after and having a go at Rashford is justified because he bought a ticket? No.

These players are all entitled af. They've achieved relatively little but are rewarded much much more than the old (and more successful) United players. I've just about had it with the whole lot of them.

I know lads that were at the game and it was toxic, but Rashford didn't look fecking interested, and didn't look bothered against City either. It doesn't matter if you hate the manager, doesn't matter if you're upset with the other players, whatever else you have to do - people have paid money to watch you play and he simply walked around the pitch and has done for a few months now. Yeah alright, you have to support the players and team and you can't really expect them to respond to abuse - and there's plenty of morons around. But Rashfords not helping himself by not even making an effort in the games he's getting subbed into. Whether that's because he feels he's too good to be a substitute doesn't matter, the fans see it out there on the pitch. It's a LOT more noticeable when you're at the games who runs and who doesn't (and why you get some matchgoing fans rating certain players way higher than you see on Redcafe - I will die on the Brandon Williams hill mainly because every time I've seen him play, he's bust his guts out all game)

It’s really nothing. What the fans said doesn’t appear bad (only heard the “after that performance”) and what rashford replied (“come say that to my face”?) wasn’t ideal but wasn’t news worthy.

Obviously if people have lied about his response he has a right to put his point but just 3 sentences is enough and move on.

What’s cringe is the appeal for sympathy. This would have been much better and got more respect..

“Guys last night I reacted in a way I shouldn’t have i apologise” or something that clears up what he said and then apologies

I disagree in the same way Ronadlo who is still a way better player than Rashford isn’t either. The fact is if you are a big teams main attacking focal point you’ll nearly always hit decent stats because we spend 5 times more than half the teams we face. The crux of the matter is that if a team that expects to win stuff sets up to maximise one player in particular that player better be amazing or the team is going nowhere. In Rashfords case it’s nearly always been a case of the stats being much brighter than the reality. His work rate and body language has been horrible for years but people were determined to build him up into something he never really was

Players will never win against fans when they are not bothered making an effort playing for your club. I mean Martial can come out with all PR stuff but most fans would not accept it for sure.

Yeah. Didn’t really look clear. I think the fan is making a bid deal out of it, probably his moment.. other fans are reacting to it based on how Rashford is playing and the team is doing. Rashford was no doubt emotional after get ko from the CL so took it personally. Much ado about nothing really.

I’ve seen videos of RM fan attacking players cars, Ramos driving out stopping and telling the fan “touch my car and I’ll kill you “(along those lines)

Maybe, just maybe he just needs to snap properly and just get it all out of his system. So he can just go be a cnut out there on the pitch, be a ruthless cnut that goes out there does his job properly and scores goals.

But he has never disrespected the club or the fans (until this breaking point) and has done A lot of good. This is my stance on it. Deserves to be benched until the end of the season then sort himself out over the summer and hopefully the new management team helps with that.

He also needs to stay off the socials for the rest of the season. Both himself and his PR/management team.

Always thought he's a good boy and a decent guy overall whose supposedly prima donna or big time charlie attitude was blown way too exaggerated. I guess it's not really anymore now after i saw the clip. You should never ever point the finger at your fans, these are people who probably use their hard earned money and travelled half way across the world to Manchester to watch you play

We do really have some atrocious characters of footballers at the club
