Thank You.

Will they ever shut the feck up about Benitez? Christ he's been gone for about 6 months now.

For me the greatest manager in the world. Mourinho was a success follower with money at his side or on a team which is at the top of the game. You bonded with the community. You played within your means, you played the game at your terms. You fought for us when others were happy digging holes in the ground to hide the facts. You gave us hope and joy, made us into the power we were of the old.

You went marching across europe and we captured their mightiest citadels. You brought us the spoils and filled the trophy room. Others feared to tread against your teams no matter even it had 6 players changed since the last game. We became the club no one wanted to face across europe. Your records against the top5 teams in england shows us our pride and perseverance in the dark times. Yes, YAWN ...never ever.

BEST MANAGER IN THE WORLD!
So brilliant in fact he got sacked after 3 months in charge of Inter. Also I love how they are addressing it towards him like he's reading the thread.

It's not so much as if they address it towards him like he's reading the thread, they are addressing it towards him as if in prayer, as if towards a god. This is the worrying part! They really are not mentally stable people.

As an example:

Our Father Rafa,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done
on Anfield as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread,
and forgive us the wrong we have done
as we forgive those who wrong us.
Subject us not to the trial
but deliver us from the evil one.

You could change that about in all sorts of ways, even comical ones, but my point remains.

Does anyone have a link to the reaction for that post?

Someone just posted fecking hell then a mod said 'have a 12 million day ban' and locked the thread. It'd been deleted by the time I clicked submit on here.

Banned him? They've probably tracked him down and burned his house down.

I await the facebook slander campaign and the petition to the Prime Minister.

That's fecking vile. People died, you fecking muppet.

I hope they banned this stupid fecking prick. Losing to Blackburn is not the same as 96 people losing their lives, you utter and complete mentoid!

More about support and the difference between finishing the league near the bottom of the table or relegation as opposed to the all consuming death sentence it has now become. Back then it was horrible but didn't have the same implications, financially or in the fans minds as it does now.

I was a little kid when we got relegated, I was crushed...:(

:wenger:

Why oh why is Rafael fecking Benitez the "best football manager in the world" ?!

WHAT is that website all about? It's more of a cult than a football forum where people debate and share opinion.

It's really baffling and quite worrying.

I honestly think about 30% of the people on that forum are United fans taking the piss.

"Our Rafa, hallowed be your name" Jesus Christ

Bad taste aside, I've been laughing my arse off non stop since reading that twist and transformation from Churchill to David Brent.

What a complete feckwit

Holy feck

The difference between Mourinho and Rafa is the difference between Alexander The Great and Julius Caesar.

One strived for fame and built an empire that only lasted during his lifetime, once he went it all fell apart. Short-term it was, nothing was left afterwards for continuation. Not the affection of the populace or of he generals to continue on his legacy.

The other strengthened what he was given and tried to build a dynasty, in the end he lost the battle with his life but ultimately in time he won the war and which led to an empire lasting centuries.

I think it's unfair to refer to RAWK as "Liverpool fans". They're not really representative of liverpudlians, or even football fans in general.

They are just a group of impressionable types who are led by the mods and the awful writings of that moron Paul Tomkins. Their Rafa fanaicism, constant petty petitioning, commitment to a single narrative - and attacks on any independent thought -are all symptoms of the cultish atmosphere that they breed. They seem to be mocked as much by other Liverpool forums as opposition team forums.

It's quite interesting as an exercise in fascism or a Heaven's Gate-like simulation. Credit to the mods, they run a tight ship over there. But i think many Liverpool fans just find them an embarrassment.

Still good fun to laugh at though.

I stand by my prediction that most deluded of them all is actually one of us on another personality created in the dark ages so deep that they're like bruce wayne during the day and batman during the night.

It's like a hobby build thru the years.

The other alternatives is mind destroying as it shown what men kind are capable of stooping at.

I was just about to post that one, it's just so good

I think these must be genuinely and fundamentally different people to any I've ever met in real life. Almost everything they say, particularly regarding the fat Spaniard, has to be so flowery and poetic that it borders on parody, and frequently crosses that line. This isn't just a "ha ha RAWK" thing, it's really, actually like that! :wenger:

Take these four posts, for example. These aren't four handpicked posts. They're in a fecking row!

Every time I see it I cry.
I want to go to the homes of every man, woman, and child who doubted him.
Show them that.
Show them some facts about G&H and Purslow.
Then stick a tape of any Liverpool game under the current boss.
And ask them if they still feel the same way.

Just read every post, watched every video and laughed, cried and got a little angry all in the space of 25 minutes but above all I just smiled thinking about experiences both collectively and individually we shared with Rafa at the helm.

We aimed for the ceiling,
Rafa took us to the sky,
We aimed for the moon,
Rafa took us to the sun,
And our light was shining bright.

Watching that video makes me feel a little hollow. They say that you don't know what you have until its gone and I think that is true in Rafa.

I've never seen such unwavering, blind, unexplainable loyalty to a manager who dropped them out of the top 4 and was deservedly sacked. I'm genuinely shocked that these people are so inexplicably stupid.

The video in that thread, particularly when coupled with the music, is hilarious

One of these days a RAWK member will be made Poet Laureate, and then we'll see who's laughing.

fecking hell. I honestly can not believe the shit I read on there.

Everyone, I think it's time to stop laughing at these poor people.

There are human beings behind the posts, and they're obviously not a great mental state. Imagine it was you who lived their life, and depend on their football club much more than we do. It should be pitied.

Which is the empire that lasted centuries, anyway? Valencia, which finished 7th after he left? Inter? Which was 7th when he was sacked? Or Liverpool, whose fans can only dream of the 7th place finish they had when Rafa was still there?

fecking hell. I honestly can not believe the shit I read on there.

someone should tell him that Julius Ceasar was stabbed in the back, much like Rafa was when Gerrard etc who tried to distance themselves from him during the end days

Christ they are a melodramatic bunch arent they.

Don't get why they all adore Rafa so much, He did so so so little for them.

Why do they all still think that Vidic is somehow scared of Torres?

He has had 2 bad games against him a couple of years ago but they just won't let it drop. Bit weird.

I love how the man that has driven them into the ground is so revered. Cut from an alien cloth that lot.

feck off out of here... thats seriously too much.

They're actually incredibly interesting instances of how a cult of personality, bordering true religious feelings, can grow out of desperation and projection. RAWK provides both great laughs and a window to the murky depths of the human psyche and the dynamics of group behaviour.

Just contemplate the fact that grown men wrote the following. Then laugh/cry/marvel at the mystery of the human condition.

In life, when you fall in love, it's the most wonderful feeling ever. The feeling lasts, then life and events makes it fade away, but you never forget that feeling.

Then, sometime later in life, the feeling returns and you realise what love is all about.

Shanks and Bob gave me the Liverpool feeling, the love of my club and what it means to be a red. Rafael Benitez gave that feeling of pride back to me after years of hurt.

Thank you Rafa Benitez, I for one understand how you felt about our club and us fans and fought the ego's that go against our philosophy.

I hope you feel the love. God bless you Rafa.

Proof that the world is a disgusting place.

Rafa Benitez - a humble, loyal, warm, intelligent man. Sacked. Driven out of his home - by a pack of absolute window licking rabid mongoloids. Think about that. It hurts to think about, but do it anyway. It's the truth.

96 supporters - loyal, passionate, innocent, Scouse, young, old. They're dead. Died for no good reason. No purpose. No fault of theirs or ours. Dead all the same. Think about that. It hurts to think about, but do it anyway. It's the truth.

MEANWHILE

Roy Hodgson - a flid, a disgusting human being, an imbecile, a cancer, a travesty to this club. He's Liverpool manager. Think about that. It hurts to think about, but do it anyway. It's the truth. He has effectively come in to Rafa's house - he's spat on Montse and slapped the children - yet he's LIVERPOOL MANAGER. Think about that. It hurts to think about, but do it anyway. It's the truth.

It has come to the point where I couldn't supress a smile if I turned on Sky Sports News and the headline was 'Roy Hodgson - dead'. Think about that. It hurts to think about, but do it anyway. It's the truth.
