Surely more can be contributed to this thread. Last years was hilarious.
I imagine one weekend of football would account for more than 4 pages of RAWK stupidity?!

The Rafa brigade is hilarious. They are still going on about him. He wasn't even that good people. Idiots.

On Scholes (not sure how Rooney managed to get dragged into it)

It will be the first of many challenges that we regularly see from this thug. Hope one of our lot does him in. If we are losing against them this season and are out the game (not that I want this to be the case), I think we should throw Soto on just to hurt them. Preferably Rooney or Scholes.

What I don't understand, is how a player can be a professional from the age of 16, and still never bothered learning how to tackle at the age of 35.
Answer: He does know how to tackle, he's just a vicious sack of shit who'd get his mandible smashed to pieces if he challenged like that on a Sunday morning.

On Rafa melting down in January 2009. Jesus Wept.

Easily our best ever manager.
Shankly had an iconic charisma, the size of a mountain but he was before my time.
Paisley had magical technical skills and the humbleness of a Taoist priest.

Rafa, has EVERYTHING. The brains, the class, the pride, the charisma and unlike so many, THE BOLLOCKS

And now Kop Football Ltd has W oy fecking Hodgson, managerial no-mark extraordinaire.
Rafa was wasted on some of you.. Thankfully only a small proportion of skywashed twits.

How they can trample on the legacy of great men like Shankly and Paisley by comparing them to that fat twat is beyond me.

Its like saying Atkinson was greater than Busby for winning two FA cups.

It was ironic how they don't like Hodgson because they think he was playing very discipline and tactical football. What do they think Rafa got them playing? free flowing attacking football?

When asked if "Liverpool are the only team that don't spend the whole time in a match singing about other teams" someone replied

Envy does strange things to strange people.

Especially wannabe Scousers!

 Envy of what, sorry?

Was taking a look at RAWK today for a bit of a laugh.

If North Korea did the internet, this would be the result - Links or stories from either The S*n or News Of The World

And this one, where a Newcastle fan says he admires Liverpool, then proceeds to be taken apart by scousers saying Liverpool are unique, the Liverpool way is like nothing else, etc - "The Liverpool Way"

I particularly like this one:

La Vecchia Magpie i think Citizen Kane's link sumps up our 10 commandments if you like although the TLW reaches far wider than that.

without this being a dig at yourself but I always wonder do Toon fans realise how pathetic they sound when they come to anfield all marching down anny road singing anti scouse songs?. Clowns in the ranks singing crap about feed the scousers etc, whilst it makes my blood boil i actually pity NUFC beacuse of its shite support that is always regarded as one of the best blah blah blah, Bullshit.

for that reason i dislike Newcastle and was delighted to see then get relagted , as in my opiinion its small time supporters belong in the lower leagues.

Thats just another thing that sets us apart, Respect

I just love the way he's gone on a 2 paragraph rant for no good reason, attacking pretty much everything he can think of about the OP who asked a perfectly reasonable (if sickeningly sycophantic) question, and then adds the sentence at the end

They give themselves a pat on the back by saying TLW is all about respect etc.

Yet next time United are playing, go to their match thread and all you'll read is people hoping a majority of our players break their legs and never play again.

I thought that was The Liverpool Way?

Rafa - Wife, ex-wife, slut, slag then ex-manager?

If I found out that no-one actually posts on RAWK and it's just a massive wind by United fans up I wouldn't be suprised at all.
I honestly can't understand how a group of people would be that deluded about pretty much everything.

I've been thinking the same thing.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was one massive jape.

What are their 10 Commandments?

True. Also they say about respect and shit. They should remember that the next time Gerrard leaves a foot in or dives for a penalty. Or the next time Torres dives and spends the entire match verbally abusing the referee.

7. It is our custom and our privilege to welcome supporters from far and wide. We expect all Kopites of all ages, wherever they sit inside the ground, to show similar respect to the city of the team they support. It's not endearing when visitors don curly-perm wigs and tell locals to "calm down". It's not clever to laugh along with away fans who sing tiresome nursery rhymes about car crime. Support Liverpool F.C, and you support Liverpool, too.

ha

I've also come to the conclusion that the whole thing is a massive wind-up. Some of the stuff they come out with is excruciatingly embarrassing.

I couldn't read past #2 of the '10 commandments' I was cringing so much.

5. Let's get inside the ground earlier. This is all about playing our part in making Anfield special, and providing the backdrop and the inspiration for the team to walk tall. It's also about letting the other team know where they are. When they come out to warm up, we want our heroes' hearts pumping - and want the opposition shrivelling. Everyone loves a pre-match pint, but let's get The Kop rocking, too.

Is it just me that thinks there is another reason for this? I.E. Trying to stop a repeat of what happened at hillsborough, the same reason all fans now aim to be at the ground with plenty of time until kick off.

1. We are only custodians. The Kop is a spirit, an attitude, the heart and soul of Liverpool F.C. No-one owns it, but together we are a legion, a force like no other.

The Rafa brigade is hilarious.
They are indeed.

While anger at the press' percieved anti-Liverpool bias has been a pillar of the RAWKish Scousers' worldview for many years, they're now angry at the press for having a pro-Liverpool bias.
The press are now deemed 'disgusting; scumbags; pure fecking evil & annoying twats' for daring to suggest Liverpool played well against Arsenal.

The media are scum. Simple as. They will see things that don't exist purely to spite Rafa.
[...]
my over-riding feeling about yesterday is that I couldn't remember the last time I saw an away side 'boss' us like Arsenal did in the first half.

If the media try to make out we performed at a higher level than we did under Rafa then it's ridiculous beyond words.

Mr Dilkington @ RAWK said:
It was disgusting from Sky yesterday. They know they will get more exclusives with Roy here and more interviews , added to the fact he's English of course. Yesterday Hairy hands said Rafa had spent a lot under the Yanks but the squad needs overturned and Roy was the man for the job. I hated it when they talked shite about us , but in a way , this false praise is even worse.

Some sane individuals point out that it might be a good idea to support the current manager & enjoy the praise, but the Rafa brigade will have nothing of it --

Some fans now have the gall to say we should move on.We have but the media haven't.It is our duty to defend the legend he is.If Liverpool survive the serious threat of a demise ,it will be down to Benitez and he should be remebered for it never mind his great achievements on the field.

 Enjoy!
This anti-Benitez spin after our "success" against Arsenal, by the media...

Why do you respond to RAWK posts on a completely different forum? That's mental. Don't expect replies any time soon!

:Reading through the Mirrors write-up on our match and two things stood out, "Roy's heroes," and "If this was Benitez's team they would have lost." Cringinly obvious xenophobia..

So they're now claiming xenophobia for praising Liverpool with an English manager. As others have said "You couldn't make it up".

From RAWK - ""Absolutely ridiculous! He is fecking quality, and would have shown his class this year. We had a real good competition for places in central midfield, but now it's weakened. This lad is different to all our other cm's. All this loan will do is fuel the media with more shite to spout about Rafa's bad buys.""

 Rafa!

I was bored and had a peek and found this thread. The first sentence alone made me laugh.

I think I'm finally over it, it's taken a while but I think I have finally gotten over the way Rafael Benitez, the Shankly of my generation, was manipulated out of his position as the estered position of manager of Liverpool football club.

The King is dead, Long live the King.

"estered" Was Rafa on steroids?

The second one isn't bad either --
Since Shankly's days the position of manager at Liverpool has been a gift for all those bestowed with the honour of occupying it.

Silliness aside, if I'd been a Liverpool supporter I'd think it was sacrilege comparing Benitez to Shankly. What say you, resident Scousers?
